The staff was immediately helpful and provided expert advice regarding what would be best in my kitchen. Not only were the staff at Flooring America fantastic and extremely informative, but the prices were very reasonable and the selection was phenomenal. I have not decided whether I will use hard wood or tile in the kitchen, but I know that once I make the decision, I will purchase it from Flooring America!

The store has a lot of choices for good prices, which is good. The location is pretty inconvenient. The people who work there do a decent job, but there is definitely room for improvement in the customer service department. For ex: one of the women who works there was on a personal phone call and was gossiping on the phone while I was standing only a few feet from her-- she was making fun of a mutual "friend" of hers during work hours, while a customer was standing close to her, trying to shop. It was really distracting and annoying listening to her bad mouth a "friend" of hers. If it's her friend, why is she talking about her like this behind her back and especially at work with a customer standing right there? I found this behavior unprofessional, rude, and immature. The guy who works there is nice but was resistant to certain things, like bringing samples out for instance... Then, after installation I called about a small issue and he told me how to fix it myself, but wouldn't send anyone out even though there's supposed to be a warranty on the work. (In other words he (Steve) was a salesman-- told me everything I needed to hear so I'd hire them and then after installation didn't bother holding his end of the deal up even though he'd said they take care of any problems.) The installers did a pretty good job overall and I was satisfied with them. They were on time everyday, were polite and professional, and the floor looks really nice. Overall, they are average-- not great but not terrible. I'll shop here again if I need to but will also keep looking for other flooring stores. Overall, they were average and there's plenty of room for improvement especially the people working in the office/ showroom.

Despite several reminders and requests that they pack our art properly, it was not done so. Upon unpacking, I found original paintings placed unwrapped in boxes combined with shoes, clothing, dishes, etc. Some of it was damaged, and they denied any wrongdoing despite photos of the way things were packed. Also broken were crystal glasses and furniture pieces. So go ahead and use them if you don't have valuable or delicate things. If you would like quality and attention to detail, I would use someone else.

We bought a new home (Richmond American) and we've had nothing but problems with their workmanship. They've come out and re-do the roof flashing twice and it still looks bad. We had to get things like vents fixed that fell off the roof. One of their techs came out and stated "no one ever secured the vent to the roof" and I was like your company has the contract with Richmond...lol. This is a brand new roof? Wow...utterly shocked and disappointed at the same time. Oh they left tons of debris in our driveway after fixing the flashing, had to pick nails and wires so our cars were not damaged. Now we have multiple cracked tiles on roof on a $350K home lol. The management needs to got out and check their work....where's the leadership and quality?

The evaporative cooler on our roof needed to be replaced and the roof under where it is located…read moreneeded to be repaired from the cooler sagging and causing some water damage. This job required good coordination between the The Cooler Guy doing the equipment and stand replacement, and America Roofing doing the roof repair. Flower, the woman doing scheduling for America Roofing, went out of her way to make sure that the roofing repair work was coordinated with the cooler installation work and around the vagaries of the weather. The roofing crew came prepared at the appointed time and completed the work promptly. They came back the day after the new cooler installation was complete and sealed under the cooler as well as the entire flat roof. They were able to finish the job in one day instead of the two that was expected. Alex Gamez finished up with a fix to a shingle that had broken during the cooler stand installation, and made sure everything was done correctly. As usual, I was able to rely on American Roofing for quality work done with consideration for the customer.
