They're not responsive. I visited their yard, they were closed on a Saturday. I did ask for additional information online but never heard back. And when I reviewed feedback from other customers who had done business with them in the past, it was not good reviews. So I decided avoiding getting another headache with my luck and passed on doing business with them. Gentlemen, reviews matter. Quality matters. You can't advertise quality and then deliver substandard. The majority of bad reviews were on your pricing and deliverance of substandard products than what was advertised. I looked at the containers in your yard and saw many stacked upon one another and they looked to have been sitting a long time. Given the AZ weather, I wasn't sure I would receive a decent container. Steel rusts and weakens over time. AZ gets monsoons and then extreme heat on metal. Not exactly a good combination for containers sitting outside year round. read more

I ordered a storage box to be delivered to my home. The gentleman driving the truck called me and discussed how I wanted it placed and where I wanted it placed before he came over. The gentleman that did the driving in the delivery was Shawn. He did us stupendous job backing that up into my driveway with my car still in place. It's like 20 feet long the container and then he had this huge trailer that it was on. He was so nice and he did such a nice job. You can definitely feel safe that he's not going to put the trailer or the storage unit. I should say on anything or into anything. He was freaking amazing.!!! read more

I bought a container from Chip at a highly inflated price but that wasn't the worst of it. It was supposed to be a one trip container so I didn't mind the high price, but when I received the container it was badly damaged and the doors were almost impossible to open. I'm a 100% disabled Vet and after the purchase I've been in and out of the VA hospital with cancer. I had more things on my mind then trying to get Chip to help me in any way possible. I recently reached out to Chip and he promised to send someone out the following week to work on the doors. Two weeks went by and no one showed up so I reached out to Chip again, he told me he was busy at the moment but would talk to me later. Now if i call him he just hangs up on me. Jerad loads up offer up with so many adds, he doesn't even have, co trainers he advertises! Basic "Bait & Switch " they put out all these adds of any type containers and size, then you call and they don't even have a 40' standard container in stock ! Scheduled delivery and driver no showed twice. Chip (owner?) promised delivery on 3/2/20. I stayed on the job-site all day on 3/2/20 to make sure I was available to meet driver. Driver no showed. The driver called at 4:00PM and left a voicemail saying "Sorry I couldn't make it, I will deliver your container first thing on 3/3/20". I arrived on 3/3/20 at 6:30 AM to open security gates to the job-site. Driver no showed again. Most concerning is their methods for receiving payment. They wanted my credit card info through a text message to get delivery on 3/2/20 (which they then no showed), and now they are slow rolling the refund back to me. Beware. read more

I emailed them for a price and after I received a quote rather than waiting a few days and sending a genuine email asking if i was still interested, they have emails set on auto respond and they send you the same email every day. Extremely annoying. Not to mention the prices they are are outrageous compared to other companies. Would not by any means recommend. Not good customer service at all. read more

I am extremely disappointed with AZ Containers. After 10 years of working with this company, we terminated our contract with them because of a move. Our nonprofit organization faithfully paid the rental on 4 containers every month for 10 years. To put that cost in perspective, we paid them over $42,000 in those 10 years. Yet when they took the containers back to their yard, they felt the need to charge us $1000 because we painted one side of one of the containers. I am confident that they repaint every container they take back before they put it out for rental again with another customer. Kevin Myers called me one week after the removal and left a message that they were charging us. What he should have said was that he already put the charge through the Friday before. No discussion whatsoever. I tried to get in touch with Kevin several times after our initial conversation and left voicemails, but he has not returned my calls. Extremely poor customer service all the way around. Don't use this company for your shipping container needs. There are so many others out there that are willing to work with you on price and exhibit good customer service. AZ Containers does not. The only person I found to be pleasant was the driver who took the containers back. His name was Bill and I would give him a thumbs up. Thumbs down to everyone else!! read more

I went in ready to purchase a container because I had looked here in the past and knew that this place is generally higher-priced but also appears to have a large selection and I was looking for something specific. After about 30 minutes of looking at what they had available (which was much less than the last time I was there), I noticed that the price point kept changing based on which ones I seemed interested in. They asked for cash under the guise that they wouldn't charge me sales tax or additional fees for credit card use, which is probably a red flag. I subsequently found that the 5 other places I looked at had better prices for both the container and delivery; some with better selection; and all were more straightforward in their dealings than this place.
