A friend of mine suggested we go to this place for a Sunday evening treat. He had been there before and he was looking forward for me to try what to that day was his best option for massages in Wan Chai. I had no reservations; he had tried, why not? I was convinced it was going to be a great end to the week. So we came up there and were received by a very lovely lady who told us to wait a couple of minutes. Once you come in, there is a big space on your right for foot massage I presume, and even another adjacent area that seemed to belong to this place too.
Five minutes later we were led to our respective rooms, separated by curtains (so you could hear everything going on next door). My 'room' was the closest to the toilet, which was...well, not a treat for my ears. You know what I mean... But I did my best to relax and put myself in the hands of an expert masseuse. It was really dark and I couldn't actually see her face. We were having a Thai massage and surely I expected stretching and pain. None of that happened really, while I was getting more and more annoyed by the creaking noise from my friend's massage and the toilet flush. This is what happens at massage places: there usually are a few therapists, some are good and some not so much. If you are lucky enough to meet a good one, make a note of her name and ask for her/him next time you make an appointment. That's what my friend did.
Now, I'm going to tell you why I will never come back to this place: my therapist wasn't only good at massaging, she didn't stop burping for the whole hour...lovely. I left the place a litte angry while my friend made jokes about it and, finally, we both ended up laughing our heads off! read more
