The Slumberland store in Baraboo is spacious and well lit and they have a great selection, well arrayed. Their sales staff is prompt and courteous, and their managers -- while busy -- are not afraid to help out, which I found to be above and beyond the call. Ethan, who was the sales professional who helped me, was professional, well prepared, and knowledgeable. What he didn't know off the top of his head, he was able to retrieve immediately with his iPad, making the whole sales experience comfortable and seamless. I visited on Memorial Day, and took advantage of their sale. I think I got a good deal on a great brand. I would like to say I slept soundly; however I did wake up a couple of times in the night because I was surprised at how incredibly comfortable I was, compared to sleeping on my old mattress. I got up this morning without the usual backache that has plagued me for a year, and which was what prompted the visit to Slumberland in the first place. There is no doubt in my mind that I will return to the Baraboo Slumberland store for future furniture purchases. My only regret is that I waited so long to go there.

He introduced himself and I let him know we were just looking. Garrett was super friendly and let us know if we needed anything to let him know. What a relief. No salesperson breathing down our backs. Quite the opposite of what I usually experience at other furniture stores, and it was such a shopping pleasure with the approach Garrett used. I went in looking for a new mattress but was drawn to a living room set that caught my eye. It was perfect and we decided we would wait on the mattress and get the living room set. We found Garrett and asked a few questions about the set and decided to purchase it. Garrett had everything done and we were out the door in under 30 minutes. Garrett offered a protection plan which we declined. Guess what, no hard sell, no you have to have it, nothing except respecting our decision all with zero attitude. Garrett was awesome. We didn't get what we came in for as we gravitated to the living set instead. We will wait till Memorial Day and probably get the mattress then as we are on a budget. I am just thrilled with Garrett as he was the "PERFECT" salesperson for my personality. The entire visit was a breath of fresh air. Very happy also with the free delivery! Who does that? It is not about the money. Verlo Mattress has been jerking us around and talking out of both sides…read moreof their mouths for about 20 days. This is a 12 inch mattress that has expanded to 10 inches in the middle and is STILL hugely compressed on both ends. They jerked us around over a replacement. They refused a refund so I could buy a mattress from somewhere that had real mattresses. They stated They had to "discuss" what to do. I don't see that there is anything to discuss. It's faulty. Several emails and photos later... AND after a call to the mattress manufacturer who informed us that the distributor- Verlo, has an agreement with them that requires them to provide replacements of defective mattresses did Verlo begrudgingly offered to replace it. The manufacturer also advised that the amount of time for the mattress to expand was 36 to 48 hours. Weeks and weeks later...still not expanded. They suggested they would open one for us so it would expand completely before we picked it up. They put it off. After more calls, they stated that the idea they came up with - to open and expand the mattress- was not convenient for them, they simply don't have the room to open a mattress like they promised. The latest LIE? "Oh, we'll open one for you christmas eve so it will be fully expanded by monday when you can pick it up" Monday - Oh yeah, we didn't have one so there's nothing for you to pick up. No call to advise there were no mattresses for them to open over the holiday - radio silence until we called to come pick it up. SICK AND TIRED OF BEING JERKED AROUND. So freaking sorry I didn't spend enough money to get decent customer service. Apparently Verlo Mattress only cares about customers who spend larger amounts of money than we did. Expensive lesson learned - never buy from a company that only provides levels of customer service that is contingent upon the actual amount of cash paid. BTW, the mattress was purchased for an individual who has been in the hospital for 3 weeks and is in need of a bed when they return This weekend. STILL NO BED VERLO. We did NOT receive what we paid for. We received a substandard product that is entirely worthless.

He was genuinely concerned and wanted to know exactly what the problem was. He invited us to come to the Ft. Atkinson showroom to try the mattress after completion of the work. We arrived and tested the mattress. It was exactly what I wanted. I slept on it last night and had a very restful sleep. My husband didn't even disturb me when he came to bed. I am extremely happy with Kim taking the initiative to help us when we were dissatisfied and frustrated. He took the opportunity and time to reassure us that we were valued customers and we really appreciate him going above and beyond our expectations!
