The delivery person accidentally slashed the side with their box cutter (we think) when delivering it. They called and had a replacement within a week. My only personal wish is that you could opt to pick up the furniture yourself instead of paying the delivery fee but that's not the end of the world.

I also don't think they respect or value their employees, including demoting someone who recently lost a loved one and had to close the shop early and then punishing her for that. When it comes down to it I don't think they value, respect or protect their customers or employees when challenges arise. Mattress Firm is pretty selfish and uses thier customers and employees. We purchased the mattress and anxiously awaited for Monday. Monday afternoon came and I didn't hear from them so I gave them a call with the number on their business card. I reached a voicemail and left a message. Tuesday afternoon I still hadn't heard anything so I called and the delivery guy picked up. He didn't have any idea and told me I would get a call back in the morning. Wed morning no call. So I texted the number and messaged them on Facebook. I can see that my Facebook message was read. I finally received a call back from them AFTER posting a poor review. Apparently they had been away on a trip. I've been notified that my mattress did not come on the truck this week, but should be coming the following week. Almost a week later and I have not heard back from them. My wife was getting antsy and gave them a call. We no longer have a date where we may receive the mattress. We were told we will be notified when it comes in at SOME future point. If I ever get the mattress or get a call back from these guys I will update this review. But, until then, it's safe to say I have not received a mattress for the money I paid and the communication has been minimal or none from them.

They sent a technician who did graciously fix 3 of the 6 chairs, but for whatever reason, they left before working on the other 3. Ashley refuses to send a technician out to finish the work because we are now outside of the 1-year warranty, despite that we reported the original issue immediately after the set arrived, well within the 1-year warranty. I can't recommend Ashley Furniture given the lack of commitment to customer happiness and I personally do not plan to buy any further furniture there - practically speaking, as we are in the process of buying a new house, we will need furniture and so the cost of the loss of our business is quite a bit greater than sending a technician out to touch up 3 chairs.

He was incredibly personable, walked me through all the mattress options, explained the lingo. He was honest with me about the best brands, the benefits of each mattress type, the drawbacks, etc. I ended up getting a Sealy Posturepedic that I really loved, plus two pillows that were on a BOGO sale. This is the 21st Century - at any other store this money would have been back in my account that evening.
