He was extremely communicative--texted me back right away, came out immediately to give me a quote, and always answered every follow-up question I had. It was genuinely a pleasure working with him. My custom-designed railing (64 linear feet) was hot-dip galvanized and took about six weeks from start to finish. Paul recommended a matte black finish because the hot-dip process can leave slight irregularities, but it ensures the metal will never rust. He was absolutely right--the final result is stunning. The railing was installed the day before my birthday party, and we made it just in time. All of my guests and neighbors were blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. Paul is professional, reliable, and highly skilled. I would honestly ignore any one-star reviews--they do not reflect the quality of his work or service. "Which color, we have lots of choices." When it was done being coated Chris told me he could deliver it. They did a fantastic job and the 3 pieces are really great looking. I tried to install it this week and my drill bit quickly got used up. I sent Chris an email asking if he knew of someone who could install it. He immediately responded and said he would install them. Later that day I got a call that he was at our home and asked if it was OK for him to install them even though we weren't home. We got home an hour later and they were installed. I emailed him to find what what I owed him for the installation? He said, "Nope". This company is amazing. Great work, great customer service and a happy crew of workers.

But it had lots of pits, and very little "gold" color was left, just lots and lots of dark corrosion marks. It had gotten too ugly to put out anymore. Over a long period of time I looked for a replacement lamp. None matched my original. I decided to purchase a similar lamp made by Stiffel on Lamps Plus. What a mess of a lamp! The two columns holding each bulb were not the same height. There was mismatched color at the base. The shade was not level. Stiffel used to be a good name but no longer. Terrible quality for a higher-priced lamp. I found Top Brass on Yelp, and despite the long drive, brought it down to see if they could repair it. They went above and beyond what I ever expected! My photo just shows the "after," which is disappointing because the difference is like night and day. It looks absolutely BRAND NEW, and what they did to repair it will last forever. It is not an inexpensive process, but I am so glad I bit the bullet and did it. It gives me so much pleasure to look at and use this lamp on my desk every day. Gail is wonderful to deal with and talk to. I made a new friend in her. Needless to say, I can't recommend them highly enough to justify the joy I now have in my resurrected lamp. It was extremely hard to find someone who could fabricate a latch out of aluminum that would fit…read moreinto the glass on an up/down window. I needed to find a duplicate latch for several galley windows on our 30 year-old boat. The old latch had failed. I contacted an engineer in China prior to contacting many, many businesses here in the United States to try to find a latch replacement, but didn't have any luck. Chris is a true craftsman. He was able to take apart the latch, remove the spring, and adapt the plastic latch so that it could be made into an aluminum one. The result was very, very impressive. The original fabrication didn't quite fit and Chris went out of his way to make the necessary adjustments so that the latch fit perfectly. I cannot recommend him highly enough for a project that most would not want to undertake. In my opinion, it was worth every penny that I paid. Thank you again!
