These guys are just simply good " They will seem gritty-tough) at first but it is the norm for welders. They listen carefully and deliver. They will/can do anything you present to them...even if is a first or they will tell you right away . No hidden surprises with this place...they are not afraid of work and know what they are doing. What a neat place to have in city heights..in fact , this may the only place like this in city heights. I brought in my rv6 catless downpipe to have the brackets that broke from a previous user. I came in initially thinking that I'd have to come back a couple days for the job to get done. Sam reassured me that Fadel his brother could get it don't right then and there. The service requested for the job topped all my expectations. Fadel was able to get my welds done in under 15 minutes since their welding machine was set up and ready to use. I would recommend anyone that need quality welds to be done here! read more

An awesome welding shop. Walked in to get an estimate for fabricating some custom stainless steel molds for fusing glass. The job also required some special bends. They welded up a jig to make the bends, cut the material and welded it all together exactly as I wanted in a matter of minutes. Exceptional quality work! Great price. Here I am - ten years later - and I find myself back at Sam's shop. I purchased these gorgeous barstools only to find they were too high for my top despite measuring. There was no way I was going to send these back. I was in love and determined to find a way to make them work. I researched so hard and found a company to cut the legs for me. I needed about 5 inches off. I had an appointment and just before I left, I recalled a company that I had worked with years ago. I looked on yelp to find my review and decided to give Sam's Welding a call. Crazy, he remembered me instantly and what he had done for me over ten years ago! With enthusiasm, he told me to come by. He quoted a very fair price and told me I can pick them up after the holiday. I agreed and headed over. Once I arrived, he said he will start on them right away and that I could wait. Within 30 minutes, he was completely done and they were perfect! He even ended up charging me less than what was quoted. I had to call him around 8 pm for a question I had and he answered without hesitation. Incredible service and impeccable job. This family owned business of brothers is the only place I'll go for any projects involving metal fabrication. They are extremely efficient, deliver high quality and exceptional service. I am so excited to show off my beautiful barstools as I host friends for dinner! read more

This I my second time visiting Sam's welding and like the first time they were fast, professional, courteous and fair. Fadel asked what I needed done and had the job done very quickly. Highly recommend them. read more

Love these talented guys. It seems there isnt too much that they can't repair in the metal department. I brought a much loved chair to Sam's welding and what a great job they did. I wish I had known of them before I had a broken screen rejected by another welding shop in Escondido & therefore met its end! I'm sure that a good job would have been done by Sam's. Straight up honest! I recently took a cheap trolley from our cricket team to see if it could be repaired. Fadel honestly said it is definitely not worth it. You can get a replacement from HD for less. Which we promptly went & purchased. I now have another strange repair piece which I'm very confident will be more than satisfactory when repaired. read more

Incredibly wonderful people in this business. I had been calling around trying to find someone to weld some stuff, I was almost regretting getting the metal, when God answered my prayers by guiding me to this place. I had been quoted an outrageous amount, but Sam was very honest and affordable. He was quick to do it, very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place, Sam and his brother are great people!! And the best welders too!!! The work was just perfect. They don't half ass anything even if it was something simple, they made sure it was gonna fit, even waiting for me to go back home and take a measurement. I am so grateful for them working on it right away. I needed this, and I couldn't believe how hard it was to finally find someone who would just do it and not take advantage of the situation. What an incredible pleasant experience. I will be coming back for sure. read more

Wow! The reviews about no job being too small are true. I had a retro bar stool break and it was fixed in 10 minutes at a super fair price.

Needed a repair on the aluminum subframe of my motorcycle. They were able to weld the tab back on in minutes with just a walk in.

Nearby Sam's Welding said that they could repair a copper fish sculpture that I bought 30 years ago with pieces falling off from poor solder joints. Sam's brother Fadel fired up the TIG welder and it seems indestructible now. They can weld or braze anything for an artist who brings in their work and lack the tools to complete. I am sure they could do any industrial welding as well. read more

Called Sam up asking for a quote to mig weld some T6 aluminum. He asked me to text him pictures and I did. Said he still couldn't give me a price, so asked me to come down to his shop. Once at the shop he proceeded to quote me $600 for a very small job. I said no thanks and took it to someone else who did the job done for $40. Don't waste your time. read more

We want to thank everyone at Sam's Welding! They were professional and knowledgeable, fair priced, amazing welders that helped with an office shelving project for our home to match the current furniture and desk. They took apart the shelving unit we had, drew out the design, and made the necessary cuts and additional plating needed to reinforce it, and cleanly welded it solidly to our required specifications. It completed our home office, looks amazing, and we couldn't recommended them more!!!! Thanks again and look forward to working with you all again!!! read more

Great place. Braught a job in and was done while I waited. Really good guy. Good quality

Interestingly, a brand new Terrafirma transmission oil pan for my 2011 Land Rover LR4 straight from UK doesn't have a oil drain plug. I recently dropped by this hidden gem to get a stainless steel oil drain bung welded to my new metal pan and get it tapped. If you don't know, welding different types of metals (ferrous and non-ferrous) together is a feat in itself. With that said, look at the pictures of the beautiful bluish/purple burn. It's joined with the perfect temperature. The welding puddles are great, not perfect, but great. I also noticed that the weld was perfectly joined to the bung when it was tapped, because you can see the metals joined without any gaps or pockets between the bung and oil pan. I'm fairly confident that it'll hold, last, and simply work without fail. Once I got it home, I used a wire brush to clean off the area, sprayed some brake cleaner to degrease it, sprayed some electrical cleaner to remove additional chemical film, and laid down several coats of GM black satin VHT Engine Enamel. According to the spray, it takes an hour between coats and 7 days to fully cure... Hmm... So I'll wait to replace my transmission pan and see if it holds. Oh and I basically walked in around 11:30 am on a weekday and walked out with it done in 10-15 minutes. Can't say enough good things about Fadel, the welder, and Sam, the guy behind the desk. Fadel basically told me it'll be X and when he was done, I handed him the cash and he gave me a discount. AWESOME! read more

I have a standing desk and had a friend drill 2 pairs of 4 holes for add on casters. Quality of his job was just okay. After 3.5 years, I have noticed a little sag near the center of the solid aluminum base supports. The best solution was to add a 3rd pair of identical casters for added support. I found Sam's Welding on Yelp, spoke to Sam and explained to him what I wanted done. He said no problem, bring it over. It didn't take but 5 minutes for Sam to do the job and he drilled a pair of 4 beautiful new perfect holes and also fixed the old pair of holes that didn't fit quite well. Sam is a gentleman, very accommodating and very professional. In my book, he is a true Ninja warrior. He is also very proud of his tools. They are his samurai swords. Sam's Welding is simply the best. I very highly recommend Sam and his establishment. A+++++ in my book. read more

Great welding shop! I had somewhat of a strange welding need. My Natuzzi swivel chair base had broken free from where it was attached. I brought the part into Sam's and in less than 10 minutes he had it welded up and made it 100 time stronger than it was from the factory! As with other Yelp reviews, the owner was very nice and offered to help with any additional projects I may have. The pricing was completely more than reasonable. My swivel chair now operates flawlessly. Many thanks for a fine job! read more

Really cool place. They welded my outdoor camp stove for me. Did it while I was waiting.

Awesome guys! They care about the object or project you're bringing in and they take their time to check over their work! These guys have different welding machines for different purposes. I came in with my cracked down pipe during what seemed to be their down time and was out the door within 10-15 mins. The shop seems a little small on the outside but don't be fooled, once you get inside there is plenty of space! Welding was done at a great price. I'll be coming back if I don't get into welding myself. Thanks guys! read more

First time there because I need some work done for a business I am starting. Words won't describe enough the great customer service and the advice they gave me about how to go about getting done exactly what I want. They treated me just like family there and gave me solid suggestion that was essentially cutting in the potential profit they were getting but ended up getting me something that provides better mobility and looks. I had a few barstools that needed to be shortened. I was lucky I found these guys. I liked the way they did the work with speed and precision. No job is to small or large for Sams Welding and crew. I rarely write reviews but these folks deserve more than 5 stars. I had some fencing needs at my home and one of the owners Fadel was prompt with a quote and had Eddie his expert craftsman out the same day. Tweaking was needed and some things needed to go to their shop and be refabricated. Sams welding turned it around and I am more than satisfied. I really dont think the competition could even come close to price, expertise and customer satisfaction. Would give zero stars if possible. Made phone call to see if they would take a small job. Whoever answered the phone, no name given, simply argued with me and gave the very obvious hint that they did not care for my business. I was actually asked why I needed something welded and why not use a torch. Clearly not in the customer service industry. Their website states walk ins welcome and no job to small. Clearly that's a misleading comment. Don't bother, they don't want your work anyway. read more
