They have an amazing wasabi, mayo sauce that goes with them. The middles split a prime rib Mac and cheese. They described it as "real American food" with a smile and a twinkle in their eye. That means it's delicious. It's actually a bacon prime rib, mac & cheese, and they don't even mention the bacon because the prime rib is so good. Very filling. Sometimes the taste actually resembled a tuna fish sandwich. The remoulade sauce that came with the crab cakes was really tasty. I wasn't really happy with the branzino dish. The fish was cooked pretty well, but "in my opinion" It had too much seasoning and the seasoning had an off flavor. Could just be my personal tastes. The restaurant has a lot of seating, little nooks and corners and a bar with seating. Plenty of quiet areas and areas to gather as a large group as well. When we arrived we were escorted to a nicely prepared table for all. I was a bit dismayed when it appeared as there was only one waiter assigned to the group but he was very nice and began our drink orders immediately. A second server placed chips and salsa on our table and the wait began. It was more than 45 minutes before our drinks were delivered that included both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and water. There was another person to help deliver the drinks when the auction began. Our server then took our dinner order (all 27). An hour later some of the dishes began to arrive and were auctioned off by another server to the guest who had ordered. (We hadn't seen our waiter the entire wait- we talked about drink refills but figured our waiter threw in the towel and left). All but 8 of the guests were served dinner by now with about a third finished. 1 hour and 45 min into the wait, the waiter came to one guest and said they were out of the steak she had ordered. 5 people were still without food at the 2 hour and 15 min mark. The last dish was served when everyone else was finished and needless to say no one was impressed. The food was not as expected, there were several orders wrong- most dishes were cold by the time they got to the table. There were a few people that thought their meal was good. Chimichangas were not crunchy, chili rellenos tasted as though the red sauce was ketchup. We were comped for all but our drinks. Yikes. We go out with this group monthly and have never had an experience as ridiculous as this.
