Our waitress was ok but she definitely seemed to have an issue with one member of our party as she forgot to not only put in her drink order then did it again for her food order. Ordered $80 of food and NOTHING was seasoned. It was to the point where I had to put my own salt in all of my food. No salsa what so ever, no silverware for my food and all I got for "salsa" was ketchup... I got an entree that comes with queso as well as queso dip on the side and they chose not to add queso to the entree so I then had to use the dip for it. I have been ordering from here for the past year and a half and since then, prices have more than doubled while the service and quality of food has declined. The past 3+ times I've had food from here, it's been very similar to what I got tonight. I am very disappointed in the service as well as the quality of food and what it's becoming. read more

Just you typical authentic Mexican style restaurant. Wanted to try while visiting the area. It was ok. The atmosphere was a bit noisy but the decor was nice and Mexican style with bright colors and big booths. The chips and salsa were ok. Chips didn't seem very fresh though like most similar restaurants. The entrees took a while to come out and tasted good. I asked for quest on my burrito. It wasn't added so I asked for some to pour on it myself. Come to find out they charge $3 extra for that. Way over priced for a small drizzle of queso sauce. Wish pricing was more transparent. Overall a bit overpriced for what you get but taste wasn't bad. Probably would try somewhere else next time we want Mexican food in the area. The restroom was in really bad shape, didn't seem clean and the urinal was about to overflow with urine which was gross walking into that, really hope the kitchen is in better condition. This is one of the best and most visited Mexican restaurants in Elkhart County. The food is always hot and tasty and though often busy, there seems to be plenty of servers to keep up. You will typically be seated within 10 minutes and once your order is placed you will likely receive your food within 10-15 minutes. The restaurant is well maintained and seem to be clean. I have eaten here many times and have never had a really bad experience. I give two thumbs up. read more

My star rating is for the food quality. Ordered a number 7 combo for lunch. Cheese enchilada, beef burrito and chicken taco. The brought all beef, my taco shell was hard shell which I can't stand. Typically Mexican restaurants will ask what type that you want. That wasn't the case here. It was laying on its side in a pool of obvious out of the can sauce that was poured on the burrito. When I picked it up the taco split and all the ground beef fell out. I didn't bother sending my order back to bring the originally ordered chicken. The ground beef had no flavor. It was bland and had an odd taste in the seasoning. I wouldn't expect the chicken to be anything special. Being that I was up since 3am driving from Chicago to an early morning meeting in the area it was 12 and I hadn't anything to eat and dealt with it. I was surprised that there was no rice, beans and lettuce / tomato. For the price I was expecting that but not a big deal. The waiter was polite and averagely prompt. The decor was very nice and colorful as many Mexican restaurants are but with the nice decor I would expect better food. When I'm back in the area I'll most likely not come back. A coworker chose this place out of convenience from Google but I tend to use Yelp and decide from star ratings. When he suggested this I saw a three star average but kept my mouth shut. read more
