This is our 2nd trip to Axe & Bull. FUN, FRIENDLY & OH SO FUN. The owner is laid back, easy to talk to and experienced. Bring your own, food, drinks & good vibes. Music was on point while we were there. Nothing fancy, it's axe throwing & guaranteed to bring out your competitive side. We made it a day date and had a blast. I wish I remembered the owners name. We had a great post throwing conversation after our game. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Tracy & Bob read more

Tried this place out on a Saturday night with the family and I highly recommend it ! We found a groupon last minute and thankfully they still had a slot available for later on that night for a reservation for seven people. ( I recommend calling if you aren't able to figure out the groupon code like myself in order to make a reservation online) oh don't forget to sign the waivers online to avoid wasting time when you get to the place. We arrived about 5 minutes before our reservation time, were taken to our axe area pretty fast, the instructor went over a few safety rules first and then gave us a few tips & tricks...he was definitely very helpful, he didn't just leave us to figure things out on our own, he actually made sure to come around every so often, if he saw someone was struggling he would make sure to point things out that would help until we got the hang of it. It definitely gets easier as your keep trying over and over again. We didn't bring any beer or wine because it was a last minute plan however next time we will! They also have a few games that you can play to make things more fun and interesting .. this is something that no matter the event you will have fun (no little kids though) We will be back soon! read more

I took my sister and husband to Axe and Bull tonight as a part of my sister's Christmas present this year. The guy working was awesome! He went over the safety rules and then let us start throwing. I struggled to get the hang of it at the beginnings,, so he came over to show me some pointers. He gave us some great tips on how to throw as well as different games we could play like tic tac toe. I wasn't sure I would like axe throwing, but I had a great time! I quickly got the hang of it and started hitting some bullseye. I was a little concerned about whether I could physically do it since I have joint issues and I am still regaining strength after a broken patella. He helped me modify my stance so I could throw comfortably while still maintaining accuracy. We had a great time and will definitely be returning! read more

This was a fun first time adventure. My wife and I got here on a Saturday afternoon and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Can was our pro and trainer and he was great. I highly recommend trying something like this if you haven't before. It's good way to let out some frustration. read more

Super Fun and Easier Than I Expected This is a real fun place. My wife and I have never thrown an axe before and within the hour we were actually playing games against one another. Our "Ax-pert" Cameron was low-key but instructive. He gave us the safety info and specifics about how to get started throwing and sticking the axes properly. We soon caught on. He also tended to a larger crowd on the other side of this indoor range and came back to check on us often. In addition to the axes, he soon delivered a pair of throwing stars (see pic) with instructions on how to throw and stick those, too. He showed us how to keep score with the point denominations indicated on the board. Bullseyes are worth 6 points. We played 21 and a couple of rounds of Tic Tac Toe. We will be back with some friends and family. read more

We're obsessed!!! The staff are so friendly and helpful showing you different techniques, tricks and games to play. We've gone with a group of 4 twice in the past t2 months and plan on going again this month and next month (there's a fantastic Groupon deal). Don't forget to wear your close-toed shoes and bring beer and wine to sip on while you throw. read more

Great first time ax throwing! The gentleman owner was patient and kind with his coaching- great fun for our family of 4.

This was my second time coming to this location and I loved it!!! Had so much coming here again, honestly. The staff is amazing and I love that he took his time to teach me how to swing the axe, he should definitely be a cheerleader motivational speaker on the side Lol no seriously, he gives you such confident after teaching you. The owner is also very nice as well, came in a large group of 9 and everyone had a blast, the first time I came it was just me and someone else, I had so much fun that time that I decided to invite more people. Everyone loved it and would definitely come again. I see more visits to this place in the future and definitely will be a regular here :) This place rocks! read more

Very clean and organized business. Had never been axe throwing before and wanted to try something new. The employees working made it a great experience. Rather than just giving us an axe and having us "go at it." He gave us pointers, instructions, and fundamentals of axe throwing. As you're throwing he'll give you more pointers and joke around a little. Even showed us a few games we could play! It is BYOB and food which is what I prefer anyways. The ol' ball and chain had never done this before either and she loved it. Highly highly recommend and I will be coming back. read more

That was a ton of fun. Owner (Vito) was as helpful and can be. Price was frankly better than it should have been. Very safe. With respect to Covid, everyone was wearing a mask and things were pretty spaced out. Def recommend if you're looking for something a little different. read more

Had so much fun! Great for teens vs adults. Booked online but do sign the waivers online, unfortunately I didn't but you can do it there.

Really enjoyed spending an hour here. Can't wait to return. Kiana so so helpful and professional. She helped my girlfriend enjoy this new experience. read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. we had a fun time.

This is a fun activity as long as you are okay with the loud noise, and people wielding sharp tools! We were the first group to arrive (on time) our time slot, and had wait 15 minutes for the last group to arrive late before getting our directions. It is VERY close quarters and you have to be vigilant of the groups next to you because axes go everywhere - especially when the people admit they had been out drinking ahead of time and were clearly inebriated... The staff were pleasant and engaging. read more

The 90 minutes went by so fast! It was an amazing time. The owner is very kind and takes time to go over everything with you. The staff is interactive and the vibe is very fun. We both enjoyed this so much, it was our first time axe throwing and we will definitely be doing this again for date nights to come. Once you get the hang of it, it is a thrill that will make you extremely competitive! read more

Great place a little expensive for what it is. But, lady working there was a big help for us beginners. Wish they had more drinks etc..

Have been 2 times. The owner was great. Showed us the ropes to throw an axe. Joked around with us. Good music too. Will be back.

Very nice staff, we had fun! I would return for another guys night out. Wasn't to busy so they gave us extra time.

Brought a group from out of town. Ages 17 - 75. WATL league throwers to never held an axe before. Everybody had a positive experience.

Took my son and a couple of his friends for his 13th b-day. It was a lot of fun, and the staff/owners were very attentive. We were taught technique, and shown different games to play. Good times for sure!! read more

My husband and I did date night here!! So much fun! And they really make it easy for you to learn! Ha! The instructor made it look so Easy!!! Haha we finally got the hang of it and will definitely be back!!! read more

I'm giving two stars because the group of friends I was with were a blast. Past that, the noise level was higher than expected, the bathroom was out of order (they had, however, brought in a port-o-potty that you had to go out behind the building to use), the place was smaller than expected (prepare to rub shoulders with the groups next to you), and the hostess was so far beyond rude that we all found ourselves hating her by the end of the night. Maybe she was having a bad day, I don't know. But rather than offering constructive help to us (sorry we're not axe-throwing experts!), she just got snarkey and obnoxious (repeatedly... for 90 minutes)... to the point where I won't be back simply because of her. In a small room with a whole lot of weapons, you would think you wouldn't want to piss people off... read more

I was looking for something to do with my son and stumbled across Axe & Bull. We thought we would try it out. While there were no hours listed on the web site Vito responded quickly to my call and said they were open from 12 PM to 11 PM and to come on over. Erin gave us a little orientation and we had a great time. Vito and Erin were very personable and helpful. Great Time! Highly recommended. read more
