Located in Pinellas, Pee Pa's Garage has a little bit of everything-- local brewed beer, axe throwing, darts, video games, and an outdoor area for the little ones to run off some energy. There's even a permanent food truck slanging some very good bar food. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted with a small business pop up event to create your own cowboy hat. There are only a few parking spaces in front of the building but not to fret as there are plenty of additional spaces to the side in a dirt patch. We look forward to coming back!

He and his group (couples) come here regularly and told me the lobster truck is amazing. There are also plenty of tvs to watch sports. There is also a BBQ trailer that is a regular food vendor. From the outside it's in a office building, and you have to go up a set of stairs. But when you walk in it has two areas for ace throwing for a total of 4 bullseyes. It's a small room. When you walk in you sign a waver and choose a new name.. no real names in axe throwing! I chose bad-axe hehe. We were split into two groups (total of around 15 people were in our session) Our wonderful instructor Splinter showed us how to throw and then we had time to do some practices! That took about 30 min for our group of 8 to cycle through. The rest of the hour experience was playing games such as horse, blackjack and the final elimination rounds. It was a blast. My fiancé was crowned the lumberlord! Can't wait to throw more axes in my future- LOL!

First time visitor and we had bought our tickets on Groupon, for a 2 hour visit for 4 people…read more Check in was easy and we had to sign waivers. The lobby area is very inviting, with couches and games to play as well as a bar. They escorted us to our lane and Brooke gave us instructions on how to hold and throw the axes as well as safety instructions. Once she left us, they turned the music up so loud we couldn't even hear each other. Since we were the only ones there, we asked them to turn it off and they did. We had fun throwing the axes. They had a sheet of games there, but never showed us how to play them. 2 hours is a long time for 4 seniors. Lol. After about a half hour, they put a group of men in the stall next to us and they were so loud, we could barely talk amongst ourselves. They put the music back on, which I understand. There are 2 rooms, so I am not sure why they couldn't have put that group in the other room so it wouldn't have been as noisy. It was the middle of the afternoon on a weekday so it wasn't busy. I have been to other axe throwing places in other cities, and they didn't have fencing in between, but wooden sides and I liked it much better, as you weren't distracted by other people throwing.

We hung out after and played corn hole, got some food from the food truck, which was good, and played pool and played cards while listening to great live music. They have an awesome outdoor space with all sorts of different games and seating areas. From corn hole to UNO cards, Jenga, backgammon, etc. Definitely something for everyone! Everyone, and I mean everyone at Southern Axe House are all great folks! Great axe coaching, taught us all to throw until we were sticking them in no time. The owners daughter even helped our son's girlfriend on another throwing lane showing her how to throw the axe and even got her a lighter axe to make it easier as she was having a difficult time. We dove down from Inverness and it was for sure worth the 40 minute trip. We will DEFINITELY be going back! It was a great out-of-the-ordinary thing to do. For sure some place to consider taking guests that come to visit.
