This place was a freakin' blast! Took my girlfriend here as part of celebrating her bday and she was so happy for the experience! This was my first time axe throwing and I'm very glad I picked Stumpy's for my first time. The staff was super friendly and attentive. They patiently gave us a little intro to axe throwing at the start, explained the games we could play, were generous with not starting our time until after we're trained and warmed up, and they kept coming back around to see if we were doing alright. The activity itself is a blast, but the place is what makes it extra special. They have areas to sit and chill. They've got several oversized games, like Jenga, connect four, and checkers. They've got a bar serving wine and craft beer (with a great selection!). The place has tons of branded swag that you can buy as a souvenir. We got the mug and a sticker. Next time I'll get this clever little tool that's a hatchet and Swiss Army knife in one! I will definitely be coming back to Stumpy's and will be bringing my people over. read more

This was a fun place! We went for my friend's bday and stayed for a few hours. I was nervous about safety before we went haha. They go over the rules well, and keep an eye out to make sure everyone's in line. There's a small bar area where you can get cans of cider, beer, etc. You can bring in your own food. It's a nice place for a group get together, def great for my friend's unique bday. read more

Bullseye! Ring that bell!! So much fun at Stumpy's. My wife and I escaped for date night. The place is awesome. Reserve online. Reception was immediately upon entry. Full bar on left when you walked further in. Safety brief before the fun begins. Individual stalls with two targets awaits. We lasted an hour and were a little sore the next day. My only recommendation is to try and go with a group of 4 or more people so you don't wear out throwing the hatchets like we did (lol!). Ill post pics the next time I go. My boyfriend and I had a great time; it's an excellent workout and activity that pretty much forces you to put your phone away and actually spend time with whomever you're with (maybe with an exception to take some pictures when you're hyped about getting a bullseye). Their registers didn't seem to be cash friendly, so I recommend bringing your credit/debit card. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to a league starting up. read more

Absolutely LOVED this place and the experience- what a blast. We had the pleasure of having the mother of the owner assist us and she was awesome! Stumpy's is super clean and a country vibe. Very patriotic which I completely respect and they offer military discounts. 'MERICA! They also have a bar with beer, spritzers, wine and snacks. I felt safe and at home. Booked for a late afternoon/evening team building event and we all had the best time! Margie was great and showed everyone how to throw, stayed close to us to provide pointers and helped us correct or stance when needed. It's a lot harder than it looks. The place is very hidden, in the back of an office park and there is currently no sign on the street for them, but Google maps takes you to the right place! It's clean and big. A few other games are in the common area are as well for the group to use. Would definitely go back with friends or plan another group outing! read more

I were celebrating my hubby's birthday by visiting local places. Stumpys was by far the best activity that we've done! The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly! From the wonderful lady who checked us in to Brandon who was our instructor, and Brendan who came and checked on us. I can't say enough wonderful things about Stumpys! Brandon was so knowledgeable and provided a great overview of axe throwing. Just an FYI please wear closed up shoes (it's policy). The place was very clean, and so were the restrooms. Each group has their own cage which comes with 2 targets, and 2 axes. They also have a bar that serves beer, and wine. Overall I gave Stumpys 5 stars! If I could've given more I would've! The owners mom was working here! She was awesome and personable and quite frankly throws a hatchet like a Viking warrior loaded with caffeine! The place was clean and the staff was awesome! A drunken agitator came in stirring up trouble and I watched her grapple with him and defeat him with expert technique. She tossed him into the rainy parking lot where he cried and went home. Super cool setup and vibe but the targets and axes are awful. Hands down the worst axe throwing experience I have had. The targets are so dry, hard, and hacked up that you're lucky if your axe sticks once out of every 25 throws. Again, super cool little spot and great atmosphere, but if you actually want to do some axe throwing, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. I had high hopes for Stumpy's, so I'm extremely bummed and disappointed. read more
