Jacquie is not only a fabulous designer with great taste but also easy and fun to work with. I met…read moreJacquie last year when we just purchased our retirement home that we planned to use part time between renting to snowbirds. She had a hand in designing almost every room with the furniture and window coverings as well as the details that really make the difference between a nicely decorated room to a stunning room! Jacquie took my stye and thoughts into consideration, but she also knew when to push a bit to consider decor we might not have chosen on your own - and of course she was right each time! From the beginning of our new house build, Jacquie joined us at the design center to make some significant decisions. One of them was the drop lighting in the café, which is a unique feature to our model which most people didn't choose it. Jacquie encouraged us to see the long-term value and the elegance it brought, and she was spot on. When we put the house on the rental market, 2 days later, it was rented for 13 months! I highly recommend Jacquie and her services.

I highly recommend Jacquie for all things remodeling and interior design. Exterior design too! I…read morefirst enlisted her help when I was considering a major remodel. I wanted to combine 3 rooms into one large open space as a kitchen and dining area. Using an online 3D rendering tool, Jacquie modeled ideas for the layout and decor of the space. Seeing what it could look like, to scale, was absolutely necessary for me to make the decision to go for it. She worked tirelessly with me for months, advising me on every aspect of this project from selecting a GC to selecting flooring, paint, architectural tile, window placement, exterior changes related to window changes, granite, you name it she helped me with it! Making such large purchases would have been more stressful than fun, but with her expert guidance and the education she freely gave me along the way, I knew I would love the end result. That peace of mind was priceless. She was also a joy to work with. Her positive energy was contagious, and her level-headed management was reassuring. She ever mindful of my budget and has the experience to know where spending more really matters and where it does not. One last thing that might surprise you! 90% of the time we spent together was done over video calls and text! Jacquie flew in during the final stage of work to work with the GC on final touches and to make sure everything was as it should be. Virtual consulting is wonderfully convenient and efficient!

    Say Yes to the Dresser

Spent weeks exploring furniture refinishers. Then I came…read moreupon " Say Yes to the Dresser". They offered the most information when I called. After that first call, I went to their shop in person with a few drawers from my set. What a fun funky place packed full of great furniture! Everyone was helpful and friendly. They picked the furniture right up and had in ready sooner than expected. Great quality and price!

Back in 2023, I paid her over $25,000 to design and furnish my home. I wasn't going to write a…read morereview initially--silence felt like the kindest feedback I could give. But over time, as more issues came to light, I felt compelled to speak up. First, nearly every piece of furniture she brought in was used. While I don't mind refurbished items, I do expect functionality. The desk in my office, for example, was painted flat white and positioned against the wall to hide the fact it had a broken/missing drawer. My son received a queen-size bed frame, though he had a full-size mattress. Her solution? "Use the gap as a cup holder." I had to buy a new mattress to fix that myself. The "treatments" she installed in his room fell off the wall before she even finished the project. The living room fireplace I approved in white arrived gray--despite me explicitly saying I didn't want gray. She then "flipped" parts of the fireplace to create a makeshift cubby, which made it look completely different from the design I approved. She added gray barstools to "tie in" the fireplace, but they only highlighted how out of place everything was. In the kitchen, the hutch she "redesigned" was broken, so she nailed the broken piece above it as decor. She offered to make a custom cat door so my cat could eat away from the dogs. I thought it was a cute idea--until I realized she simply used doors with missing glass panels. I later found out the wallpaper she used on the hutch and in multiple rooms was just tack paper. It started peeling within months. When I began removing it, I discovered the walls underneath were never prepped or sanded. The wallpaper in my bedroom is now curling at the top and coming off entirely. She also painted my bedroom furniture with flat white paint, which now attracts dirt and needs repainting. My bed frame was never secured--it rocks back and forth--and the L brackets she promised were never installed. To top it off, she left outlet covers off, used a vanity to hide a large crack in the wainscoting, and the final product looks unfinished. It took her nearly a year to complete the project. I asked to be released from the contract more than once due to the delays, but she always blamed "staffing issues." Looking back, it feels like she sourced nearly everything for free or from discount sites like Temu to increase her profit. The invoices don't even reflect what was actually done, which feels incredibly shady. Most of what she brought in was broken and left that way. I do not recommend her to anyone for anything. Say no to the dresser.
