As a small business owner, I could not be without my laptop as I rely on it constantly to answer inquiries, etc. I came across Jason who jumped through hoops to get my laptop set up in a matter of hours. He even picked it up and delivered it back to me. Wow, impressive! My new laptop works like a dream right now and has all the things installed that my old laptop had on it and as a bonus, it's even faster.

All of a sudden the macbook was shutting off (the screen was shutting down and there was some noise that seemed to be related to the RAM) I contacted João and he was able to help right away. The problem was intermittent and he advised us to get a new memory RAM from a store in NY. He bought the memory for us and installed but after a couple of weeks the problem came back. He returned the memory to the store. João suggested a shop in NY that are specialized in Macbooks repairs, so he paid and sent the Macbook Pro to them. We got the Macbook back after a month and again after a couple of days the problem came back. At the end we returned the Macbook Pro to João and he gave us full refund. I was sad that I didn't have a Macbook Pro anymore but in other hand I was very happy to know João and he got my trust and my business for life. The way he handle the situation it was beyond my expectations. From that day forward anything I need related to IT, website, Computers, setting up things at home I go João - Function Key - fn.

My ten year old iMac bit the dust late Friday…read more I needed it on Monday. I read the Yelp reviews and I requested an estimate from Avmeda. John texted me within 15 minutes. I texted back and he told me to bring my iMac right down. His quote was one-third of any I got previously from other repair shops. He said he'd do his best to repair by Monday. Over the weekend he called me with updates. Sunday morning he told me I could pick it up. He did everything I asked and more. He couldn't fix my keyboard, so he gave me one to use until I could get a new one. His estimate was dead on. Not a penny more. I believe that John is honest, his charges are more than fair, his repair work is extremely fine, and he goes the extra mile for his customers. Avmeda IT Services is highly recommended...

I have been a long-time customer - although I have had some recent frustrations with the BounceBack…read moreproduct, I think it is still the best option out there for laptop backups. Its far superior to trying to burn dvd's etc . However since I complained on my prior yelp review about two issues: (lack of information on the ui, appearing to have hung for long periods of time and a non-bootable backup disc issue) I have been contacted by CMS and they have proved to me they really are paying attention and do care about responding to their customers issues. They have sent me instructions which hopefully will resolve my issues. For whatever reason, CMS tech support is shielded behind a web site so it is initially difficult to reach a real person if you happen to need support. Keep trying. Their response time in my case via web/email was ~30 minutes and the message did contain a phone number - that I had failed to notice. Too bad they don't just publish the number on their web or in the help screen for the product. I respond much better when to talking to someone when Im having problems. If you do purchase one of these - and I honestly hope you do... and if you have any problems or dont understand what its doing - dont wait until your frustrated like I did to get through to their tech support, be persistent. I think it comes down to this... It is hard to make a product that works flawlessly on PC models and OS versions, and a UI that provides the 'right' amount of detail. I guess I should cut them some slack here. So Ive upgraded my review back to being 'a fan' given the responsiveness they have shown. And I hope they take to heart my plea for more informative user interface for operations that may take several hours to complete - and make the support line phone number easier to find.

PS: This comes with a 3 year warranty, even the manufactures don't offer that!!
