I'm really not sure what to do other than post a review…read more My husband's hard drive crashed and he was looking for someone to do data recovery. I found That Bytes online and told him this would be a good place to go based on reviews and proximity to our home. It's been 2 months and we can't get in touch with him to get it back. We've tried countless times to check in on progress. His listed phone number goes unanswered, and we can't leave voicemails. When we are able to connect with him in person he can't seem to ever provide a date at which it will be completed or even produce the hard drive for us to take it elsewhere. While sitting in the parking lot around 1:30 PM today waiting for his arrival another family came by with the same problem and were super bummed when we told him he was MIA. His door says he opens at 9ish in the morning but his schedule can change without notice, so it's very difficult to catch him even during typical working hours. At this point I'm wondering if he's ok? Or maybe he just needs some consulting on proper expectation setting and communication cadences for running a customer facing business. Please give us back the hard drive.

I've had an amazing experience working with Best Practice Media. I know they handle full social…read moremedia marketing campaigns, but I just started with their training. I took a class from the owner of the company and learned how to optimize my profile on LinkedIn to get new clients. Within a week, I jumped from the top quarter-percentile to the top 5% and I've had acual paid clients come from her work with me, not just BS leads that turn into nothing. I REALLY like having the money I spend on marketing come back to me immediately. Traditional marketing is NOT like that, and I've had frustrating experiences spending money on advertising in the past, and not knowing if it even worked, so this was a welcome change. The team is also really hands-on. Their personal attention really sets them apart from other cookie-cutter firms that help with SEO and Social Media. We met twice a week during my training, and I had about a million questions answered. It was super helpful. I have friends who have worked with bigger social media marketing firms in Austin (not naming any names, haha, but I'm sure you can figure it out) and they get passed off to a young clueless intern immediately after they sign the dotted line. I really like how I work with the same person every time, email her, text her, etc. I'm a night owl and so is she. ;) I just signed on with her to manage all my social media content marketing (we're doing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram) so I'll update this review with my experiences on that end when I'm further along as a client. They also have beer on tap in their office, so that's a plus! ;) They're great!!
