I was driven past this jewel box of a spot and wanted to get some flowers but I was not sure. Fast…read moreforward to seeing photos from a friends wedding that happened a few years ago and saw what Brad and his team did and I was floored. It looked like something that came from the pages of Vogue and Town & Country. Basically aspirational flowers, arrangements and bouquets. He's a local and has lived in NYC and London. He worked with the late, great Robert Isobel in NYC and some of his clients were/are Bette Middler and SJP. I'm not even joking Bradley James is the real deal and still his designs grace the pages of different countries Vogue magazines and more. My wedding anniversary was coming up and I wanted something different and show stopping. I've tried a lot of local florists around here and I felt like I was not heard or was disappointed. I went in on a Tuesday and talked with him, showed him some photos of what I was interested in and a budget. Now kids flowers cost money and I would rather give my money to a local spot than some big corporate florist. Just the colors, flowers and size of my arrangement is dumbfounding. The inside of the atelier is a beautiful little jewel box of treasures and flowers. This is a special place and if you know you know. It's like the best little hidden secret of the South Wedge.. and to give you an idea they are pretty much booked up for weddings until 2024 no joke. My arrangements has orchids, roses, and all other kinds of very cool flowers. I am going to have them make me something for my mantle for Christmas and they are a quick 5-7 minute drive from where I live. Brad and his team could not be nicer and Jeff brought out my arrangement to my car and absolute plus. They really love and enjoy what they do. If you want something show stopping come here. Parking is on the street or behind the buildings.

The couple I had called either couldn't deliver or didn't have purple flowers (my Aunt's favorite color). I ended up calling Freedom Flower and glad I did. I was hesitant about the artificial flowers, especially at about twice the price of my budget but they looked great. My Aunt called, so excited from the beautiful flowers they delivered - even smelling like a real bouquet. Unlike the usual $100 arrangements, this one will last well past the typical week. They were delivered this morning and the recipient loved it. I thought their delivery fee was very reasonable (much cheaper than the places in CA I have used!) and I appreciated that they emailed me to confirm it was delivered. Only reason for 4 stars is I wish I had a better idea of what I was getting. The description is only "designer's choice" but doesn't give any examples of what varieties to expect, the size/quantity of plants, or what container they will be in. Luckily, the pot is beautiful and fits the decor of the house it will be living in. I do think for the price I paid there could have been a better selection of succs, the one pic on their site shows colorful ones, but they were sent what looks to be two kinds of green ones. It definitely looks nice, but I wish the website had more details/options. Overall though, I am very happy with the delivery and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I need to send flowers/plants in upstate NY.
