Bob was professional, prompt, communicative, and pricing was very fair. Our issue was ~20 wasps aggressively flying around on our front porch and we were unable to find the nest. Bra-Wey came out the very next day and was incredibly punctual. Within just 5 minutes, Bob identified that the wasp nest was likely hidden beneath some boulders and sprayed the areas where the wasps were likely hiding. He was excellent with communication, explaining to me to keep my dog away from the area and that he inserted some warning yellow flags in the ground to warn about the sprayed area. He said he would come back the following week if the wasp activity persists and was even planning on sending a worker over to weed whack the area to ensure the wasps would be eliminated. My wife found him in the yellow pages I believe do we took a chance we were NOT sorry about. Scott was always there when we needed him, on time, on budget with estimates, very reasonably priced, and had a nice personality (wearing a smile - you don't see that often!) He is great at barricading the trap, so the woodchucks had no where to go after leaving their den except for in the trap. We recently had tried a different wildlife service, and they were terrible; they didn't try to prevent the woodchucks from walking around the trap (and their customer service was atrocious). Jeff blocked both sides from the den to the trap, and even the top to make it really hard for squirrels or chipmunks to climb in and get the bait (and caught). He was also SUPER RESPONSIVE, let me know what was going on during the process, and making sure the trap was ready. He also had better prices than the other company I tried first. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Jeff! He was great!

I called Jeff Thompson of Thompson Wildlife Services because he is on the mass.gov website list for…read morePACs (Problem Animal Control agents), and was also listed as a reference at my town hall animal control office. He charged me $750 for the inspection, trapping and exclusion of any raccoons or squirrels at my house, with a 9 month guarantee - I paid in two parts, 500 down and the remainder when the work was finished. He set traps and trapped an animal or two, then he meshed over two openings he claimed were access points. A few months later, after I had rented the house, my tenants called to tell me they heard heavy movement and scratching in the walls and ceilings. I called Jeff to return and inspect, as I was still only a few months into my 9 mo. warranty. He refused to come. He said he would only come to inspect the situation if I paid him a fee of $75 for the visit. He claimed that if there were animals that had gotten into the house despite his fix, it was not through any of the points he had worked on. Of course, he could not know this without inspecting the property, which he refused to do without additional compensation. The warranty definitely covered him returning to check his work and determine if new access points had been created. By the time it was clear he was refusing to honor the guarantee, an animal died in the walls, causing noxious fumes during part of the lease term, then flies from the decomposing carcass. I called four other animal specialists/contractors to try and find the body, but despite paying for tearing holes in the walls and pulling up floor boards, it could not be found. Jeff never returned to check his work, nor did he stand by his warranty. He was paid in full and on time for the work and guarantee, but my problem persisted, and required paying all over again to a new company. He is one of the pest and wildlife removal agents/companies that take advantage of people because they can, and he couldn't care less. He knows the licensing authority in MA does not review or sanction poor business practices, so he does as he pleases. I suffered excessive damages and expense due to his refusal to abide by his work and warranty. Jeff is a dishonorable businessman - I would warn homeowners to take heed before hiring him.

Unfortunately, we have a problem section on the rear deck of our triple decker where raccoons can…read morerip a hole and nest inside the walls of our apartment. We called up Mike Arlauskas and he is very forthcoming with information on what and what not to do before he gets there. He came through our apartment the first time and wanted us to point out to him the places in the wall where we could hear the raccoon so he would know where to set the traps. We've had two raccoons now and each time we call him he comes over the same day to set traps. He also checks them every day and will remove the animal once it has entered the trap. The first time we had a raccoon it entered the trap within hours. The second time, the raccoon took a few days to take the bait but we called up Mike in the morning and he came by within a couple of hours. He also takes steps to ensure that there are no additional animals coming in and out. At the end, he temporarily blocks animals from entering the hole by using wire mesh but you are ultimately responsible for patching or any contractor work that needs to be done. Mike is really friendly and professional and makes the process pretty easy. According to his business card he takes care of other pests such as squirrels, skunks and birds. It also lists him as PAC agent, Insured, Licensed, Members of MAPAC and NWCOA. Just a quick note, as soon as that raccoon enters the trap it will try very hard to get out and it seems to be as loud as a jackhammer. Both times the raccoon was trapped late at night so the process may disturb sleep.
