You could go to PetSmart or Petco or any one of the franchises, but you would be missing out-…read moreBIGTIME. With Happy Wags, we were able to get personal service at our home. We didn't have to drive the 20 miles to a pet store. We didn't have to deal with other yappy dogs pooping all over the place. Instead, in the comfort of our own home, we learned how to keep our dog from darting out of the door, how to go "down" and how to walk on the leash. We don't have to put our dog away when guest visit. Buddy no longer goes insane when the doorbell rings. Our dog stays now when we tell him and he even sleeps in a new bed when told "night, night". Buddy turns 5 yrs old this month. Everyone else had given up on him. But, Happy Wags told us he was still trainable; and they were right. Buddy LOVED training and his trainer. I have stage 4 cancer and my father has Parkinson's disease and my mother is 75. Our dog, Buddy badly needed the loving, positive personal training he received. Our trainer had to work harder with our family than most families, I suppose, because of our physical limitations. She readily adapted the lessons and was always available via phone and e-mail. I loved the e-mail reminders. Did I mention the price? The price turned out to be less expensive than at the pet stores and she came to our home and offered more sessions. The service was supportive, affordable and life-changing for our dog and family. Happy Wags is now a part of our "framily." We are so thankful. We miss her and we almost hope Buddy acts up so we can call her for more lessons. This really is as good as it gets.

Caitlin Nagy was recommended to us for the training of our pit/chow mix Reese. We inherited Reese…read morefrom our brother. We initially contacted her for help with what we saw as aggression in Reese. Even when my brother was alive it was next to impossible to form a bond with Reese. We figured that she is a one person dog. Simply put, we were scared of her. When we reached out to Caitlin for help her response was that there were reasons for Reese's behavior and that we would explore different avenues. We set up a house visit for our first training. On the day of our visit she explained that before working directly with Reese, she wanted to take a video of us walking Reese. After a couple of minutes of taking the video and observing Reese she determined we should consult with our vet. She was concerned that Reese might actually have a hip or knee problem and be in pain and in need of meds. We made that vet appointment and sure enough Reeese has knee problems. With proper meds, it is everyone's hope that this will relieve some of her pain and hopefully make it easier to work with her. Caitlin's approach is to look at the "whole" dog, as well as teaching us about dog language. We like this approach. Now that we are addressing Resse's physical issues we look forward to our next steps in helping us feel more confident and safe with Reese and her tendencies towards aggression. We understand that this is a process and look forward to working with Caitlin on the rest of this journey! Thank you so much Caitlin!

Caitlin is the reason our rescue pup, Kiwi, is becoming such a good girl! During our private…read moretraining sessions, Caitlin does the heavy lifting of introducing Kiwi to a new command, then reinforcing it before we would all practice to further solidify the commands. We'd end each week knowing exactly what to practice with Kiwi, and so far, she has stellar recall when off leash, knows "sit," "down," "go to bed," and is becoming a pleasure to walk with around the neighborhood (she used to be terrified of cars and would not understand leash walking at all). Kiwi's behavior improvements are remarkable, and we have Caitlin to thank!

I would have selected 10 starts if the option were available…read more Jessica has been helping me and my baby since early 2022, when I was at my wits end and googled for canine behaviorists. At that time, Clarabell, our coonhound mix who was supposed to be a beagle-pointer mix...was 3-4 months old, high energy, car anxiety and sickness, already 50+ pounds of pure muscle, strong will and even stronger vocal cords. I couldn't control her on the leash or keep her from jumping on people - so she wasn't getting the exercise, stimulation or socialization she needed. I couldn't leave her alone for a moment or take her in a car. Cages and closed rooms caused even worse anxiety and distress. Rehoming was not an option. Medication (for me :) and) her would be a last resort. I was at my wits end and I knew I needed professional help but my financial limitations due to medical issues/expenses made finding it a huge challenge. I sought recommendations and searched multiple social media platforms, search engines - until I found and reached out to Jessica and my gut knew immediately that she was the one who would and could help me to help and love Calarabell the way she deserves and needs. And I was absolutely right. Jessica is a person and dog whisperer. She is endlessly and unshakeably calm, collected, even toned, knowledgeable, reliable, communicative and quick to assess, address and manage any fur baby and fur owner's challenges. She accomodates in every way - from work schedules to circumstances or behavours that require off-site or odd hour corrective activities and processes. She does it all with a level head, a pure and kind heart, an unmatched natural talent and learned skill sets. The evidence is in the results. Clarabell is now 1.8 months old, 85 lbs. and 5'5" standing. Walking her is now a good experience. Car rides get easier and easier. She can be home alone for hours at a time. She rarely jumps up on people..and truly there are only challenges when my husband and I don't do the things Jessica has shown us to do. Clarabell is a sweet and happy girl. Jessica stays with her when we go away ( another superb service she offers). I am forever indebted to her and she is the only canine behaviourist I will ever recommend.
