I ordered a Sunshine and smiles arrangement for our sick daughter. When she sent me a picture of what was delivered, I almost threw up! Not even close to what I ordered (order was over $130.00 CAD). I was told that their suppliers did not deliver their supplies. Not my problem. I either should have been told that and asked to buy a different product or told they couldn't help me. Nope! Their solution to placate me was a 10% refund!!! How pathetic is that? I feel I should have either been refunded half or all of my money. Never again will I buy or recommend Blossom Flower Delivery. My son used this florist for the 2023 Mother's Day, 1/3 of the flowers were practically deceased. I contacted him and suggested going forward that I would pick up the flowers myself at another florist rather than wasting money on receiving left overs on Mothers Day or the driver making numerous drop offs in a hot vehicle. Just not worth the money as much as I appreciate my son's intentions. id avoid this florist. read more

My first experience with Awesome Blossom was about a decade and I'm happy to say that their service and quality has only gotten better with time. 98% of my interaction with the store is via the website ordering system or by email - but i did get the chance to head in a few months ago and checked out their adorable shop. They have the best things in there. Most recently - I needed to sources some corsages and centrepieces for a big employee event. I immediately thought of Awesome Blossom and sent an email to see if they could do what I was thinking of. Karen responded right away. Her responses throughout the process were quick and concise. She came up with absolutely beautiful centrepieces for our event, and the staff were fighting over who would get to take them home at the end of the night. Event planning can be stressful and it's so important to have good vendors that you can count on. I never worried about a thing and was very pleased with the product we received. Awesome Blossom's website has a great selection of bouquets for every occassion. There's also an option to add on balloons, teddy bears, chocolates, and so forth along with your bouquet. I was able to navigate through the site easily and the check out process was really smooth. They sent a confirmation e-mail with all the details and then sent another e-mail once the flowers were delivered. I loved how easy the whole process was. As strange as this is going to sound, I like when I get to write a review about a business who corrected a mistake/shortcoming because it really portrays their level of customer service. The latest arrangement I received sadly started to wilt after a day. I knew this was not at all normal for this flower shop, so I contacted them through Facebook with a picture. They immediately apologized and said they would send me a fresh arrangement the next business day. I could tell that they truly cared about delivering a quality product, and it was really exceptional customer service. I've used Awesome Blossom's delivery service a few times now. They're great for the florally-challenged male who wants to send his wife or (and?) girlfriend flowers but doesn't know what to get. They have suggestions for every occasion. A four-star review got turned into a three-star because on this particular occasion their delivery driver didn't pay attention to direction: I requested that my wife's Valentine's Day roses be dropped by our doorstep because no one would be home at delivery time. I get home...no flowers there. There was a "Sorry we missed you notice" in the mailbox with a phone number on it. I called this number and immediately began complaining, "Pay attention to detail blah, blah." The guy that answered the phone sounded totally clueless and rude, so I hung up on him. A few minutes later, our doorbell rings and it's our neighbour (whom we hadn't met yet, by the way) bringing the flowers over. He said that Awesome Blossom dropped them off at his house earlier because nobody answered our door. It turns out that the phone number on the delivery notice was our neighbour's and that's who I was yelling at when I called. This made for an awkward moment. If the driver read the damn instructions that I gave, this would have gone a lot smoother. So yeah, if you order from Awesome Blossom I suggest that you call and get a confirmation that the delivery goes down exactly as you request it. read more

I recently moved to Edmonton so finding a reasonably priced, good florist is paramount. After doing a little research I chose to try Awesome Blossom. I called in my order as I was pressed for time. I was asked what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. I replied that I wanted something "unique, simple, but elegant." When I picked it up, the arrangement was stunning!! Great flowers! Some delivery troubles - took two attempts - and I feel the situation wasn't handled very well by Awesome Blossom. I'll tell you the story so you can decide. The driver failed delivery the first time - apparently they couldn't find the place. I still am not sure why they weren't able to find it with the address I gave, but their website says they will contact the recipient if they have confusion about the delivery address. They didn't. The driver just gave up, didn't deliver it and left. I got a phone call saying they wanted to charge me for a second delivery attempt and wanted clarification about the address, to which I said call the business' number that I had listed in the delivery instructions (I still don't understand why the driver didn't call them in the first place). I ended up agreeing to pay the fee because it was already late in the day and wanted to make sure this was delivered on time, but I feel like this was Awesome Blossom's mistake and they should not have charged me a delivery fee for the re-attempt. read more

My fiance often buys me flowers from Awesome Blossom for my birthday and other holidays. I've been disappointed with the last 2 deliveries. The most recent was 2 dozen white and red roses in a vase. All of the roses were fully open and were already starting to curl. We also had the same issue with our previous order of roses. I am so irritated right now. My husband ordered a dozen roses online for delivery a day earlier than Valentine anticipating that Awesome Blossom would be too busy for the Valentine delivery. Its Monday today, no flowers and no word from the shop. My husband has emailed them, i have called them and all i am getting is a recording that they have moved and to leave a message. Very disappointed with Awesome Blossom. My delivery was left on porch in -30 weather for a week. Although there was a phone number attached to the delivery slip no one called and we were out of town. The replacement arrangement was all carnations although the original arrangement was roses & chrysanthemums. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Terrible attitude and customer service. My best friend's birthday is coming up and I enter Awesome Blooms's website two days prior and order flowers to be sent on the 16th, which is her birthday. The 16th comes, it's 4pm and my friend didn't receive anything, so I call to inquire. The lady on the phone checks my order and says that on their system it shows that I selected the 21, instead of the 16. I tell her this is a mistake and that I have the confirmation email as a proof and proceed to forward it to her. Note that she insisted that it was MY mistake not theirs. She gives me the manager (Karen, I think) and she says my friend isn't home and that she requested it to be delivered on the 21st. Now my friend is home and I know this for a fact so I tell them please just send it, I know she's home. The manager or whoever I was speaking to does not want to send it and insists that I'm wrong, again. I tell them I don't want a rerund or anything else, I just want what I paid for to be sent today. That's all. She hangs up and then calls me again to tell me they are canceling my order and issuing a refund. I explain I don't want their refund and canceling is not what I want. She hangs up on me again! And that is pretty much it. Extremely disappointing and rude. read more

I would definatly not reccomend this flower shop. I have orderd from here twice, and both time I was completely unimmpressed with the results. The first time was pretty bad, but I figured Id give them another chance. Never Again. If you are ordering off the website, be expecting to recieve a bouquet about half to less than half the size of the one in the picture. (I orders the premium buquet, which is two steps up from the normal one, and got one that was smaller than the one in the normal size pic. There lucky it was getting diliverd to someone else, cause if I had been recieving it, I would have sent it back and demanded a refund. NOT IMPRESSED. Micheals flowers downtown on jasper and about 121 is alright though. read more
