I'm clueless when it comes to cars and how they run. (Interiors, I know just about everything, but…read morethe mechanics, you lost me) So when I pulled my car out of my parking spot and found that I had a flat tire, I thought my night was doomed. While I was able to call CAA and get my spare put on without any hassle, the guy wasn't able to tell if it was repairable or not. I called my Uncle and he suggested these Toman's. So I got off work, drove the car over to the shop and walked in. Took me a few minutes more than I would have liked to get service, but there WAS someone in front of me, and once they heard what I had to say, Tony came out and looked at my tire and never looked back. He immediately spotted a piece of metal stuck in it and put some spit on it to demonstrate it would bubble and thus that was the puncture. He asked if I wanted it repaired and I said yes. Twenty five minutes later, he had it repaired, on the hoist, switched with the tire and off the hoist and all for 20 bucks. I couldn't be more happy. They were super friendly, didn't bullshit me anything and I was in and out faster than I thought. No complaints here. I'll definitely be going back for any other issues I have.

I would say they're honest when it comes to actually letting you know what you actually need and prices are fair here. They'll take a look and update you and tell you exactly what's going on, and that transparency is something to be respected. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking.

This one was no different, Calling in I asked if they had a part to fix the rear passenger shock mount as it had failed due to wear. A 20$ Item, 3 screws easily accessible, and 10 minutes of work with an impact driver and WD-40. After calling i was LIED to when the front desk had said that the shock i was looking for was fused and the 20$ part unfortunately has to be a 150$ entire shock replacement as well as an estimate of maximum 100$ for the labour. I took his word for it and agreed to the service.... little did I know.... this was not the case. I asked for my old part back and easily popped off the mount from the rubber gasket and made mention that I must not have had the "factory model" he talked about over the phone. Alas, after lying again and saying Mazda doesn't sell it separately, he shortly corrected himself a minute later saying that they do not buy them separately (no need to get it from Mazda, Napa sells the same KYB mount (Mazda's factory shock choice) or dorman substitute). Irregardless charging me 50$ more than the cost of the suspension. valuing his mechanics service at 300$/hr (took 20 minutes in total in/out while moving slower then a sloth) and openly lying to a customer you'd be better off at a Canadian Tire auto service. Heed WARNING to those who do not know different, speed and monetary cost is in the eye of the beholder and this Snake Oil salesman sells a bitter brew of lies.

Approximately 27 MONTHS LATER, I was advised that the same exhaust component needed to be replaced AGAIN. In my opinion, that is an unacceptable lifespan for a repair of this nature and raises serious questions about the quality of the part supplied, the installation, or the original repair. I retained the invoice and photographs and subsequently examined the components on the vehicle. Rather than reassuring me, what I found left me with MORE questions about exactly what was installed in 2024 and why I was facing the same repair again barely two years later. This is what concerns me most: customers generally cannot crawl underneath their vehicles and verify expensive repairs themselves. We PAY professional mechanics because we TRUST them to install the parts we paid for and perform the work competently. After this experience, that trust is gone. I brought my concerns directly to Frank, the Service Manager (Habib the owner refused to speak with me). Frank refused to answer any of my questions and did not provide an explanation. My advice to other motorists is simple: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. KEEP YOUR INVOICES. PHOTOGRAPH THE PARTS. ASK TO SEE WHAT WAS REMOVED. GET A SECOND OPINION.
