They told him it might take about a month to get to it, but they expected it would be sooner. Over three months went by with no update. During that time, my husband called and even stopped by four different times, and every time they said they hadn't gotten to it yet. On the last visit, they admitted they had actually lost it in the back and couldn't read the notes from when he dropped it off because the writing had faded. When they finally called, they said it was ready -- and the bill was $992. Almost a thousand dollars, with no phone call for approval before doing the work. Any reputable repair shop calls first to confirm the cost, especially when it's that high. For that price, we could have bought a good used mower. We're extremely disappointed in Wayne Gravely in Lenoir and won't be returning.

They service and maintain 5 heat pumps on my two properties, and just replaced an older unit I was having problems with. Samantha in the office is great at her job, and their technicians are experienced and highly skilled! I can attest to the fact that owner, Mike Lane, is directly involved with his business, also spends time in the field, and has the customer in mind as his top priority. These appliances (15" undercounter icemakers) are notoriously unreliable and Benfield truly went above and beyond to stand behind their work. Through no fault of theirs, the parts to repair the maker were expensive and the labor required to do the repairs was also expensive due to the extensive time involved. When problems reappeared, Benfield quickly took more responsibility than I believe any repair vendor would take and saw to it that our home got its icemaker working again.
