He burned 30+ minutes talking about car trivia, pulled a spark plug with the battery still connected and the engine hot (a rookie mistake that risks real damage), and then tried running an OBD2 scan with a dead reader. None of this addressed the service I asked for--only to buy time, which he then charged me $65 for, based on what he thought was right. Transparency wasn't there from start to finish. In the end, I rearranged my schedule, got no real work done, and paid for wasted time. From preparation to honesty to execution--everything fell short. To make matters worse, my trusted mechanic later confirmed the spark plug threads were stripped from his work.
