That being said, there have been times it was harder to find someone to help despite a lot of employees in the store. The gentleman by the cashier (Eric I believe his name was) is super helpful and knowledgeable. Apart from helping customers, he remembers them as well as their interests, which is what brought them to the store in the first place. One recommendation would just be to have the employees more proactive for when customers come in and be within the area in case the customer has questions while they're browsing around.

So, no data recovered, and the SSD drive was destroyed! See the details below: 1- Took it for recovery, and they said it has to be shipped to the HQ 2- Two months passed, and I had not heard back. So, went in and inquired. I was told that HQ was busy. I asked how long, and they said, "We don't know."? I asked them to call, but they had no calling ability! I asked them to cancel and request it back. 3- The laptop comes with the SSD in a separate case! The tech desk puts it in for me. 4- I go home, and the SSD is not recognizable 5- I take it back. The same person told me, "The HQ removed the chip from the SSD as part of the data recovery". So, I asked them to put it back. They had to send it back to HW for that "chip soldering." 6-another few weeks, and I get the same SSD back. They told me that it could not be fixed. I must have taken it somewhere else!!!! This wasn't done by them!!!! I am furious. But how do you reason with idiots? Any lawyers out there who want this case?

I found a lot of stuff here that I don't usually see anywhere else, and to be honest I was shocked how well organized everything was. Honestly though it was an "organized mess". You can find things easily but just the sheer amount of odds and ends makes it visually busy. I digress I was in and out in 30 minutes though I found my part in 2 minutes. Spent extra time exploring. I recommend checking the website first to see if they have what your looking for then of course head on in to explore.

It's one of those places you will need to spend some time rummaging through. Their prices are not cheap either. Before you buy anything here be sure that you really are going use your purchases as they have a very restrictive and lengthy return policy which pretty much means all sales are final for most of the stuff they sell in their stores. Customer service is rather poor and slow especially at the cash counter. I much prefer the prices, service and stock of Active Surplus which is an institution in downtown Toronto.
