The dentist stated that my bite would correct itself and she wasn't worried about it. Well, that's true that my bite corrected itself when my trays were out but that then caused my teeth to shift from the tray alignment. That situation caused my trays to start splitting and I was told that since I had been released from treatment the trays would now cost $200+. I don't want replacement trays anyway because my teeth are not properly aligned and I'm certainly not going to give them a THIRD try on another set of trays that would probably cost another several thousand $$. SO frustrating and HUGE waste of $$ and now I have to find another orthodontist who hopefully cares about patient satisfaction. UGH!

My teeth are straighter but not worth the $8,000++ and 2 years of braces I endured. I think they should have used spacers or left the braces on for a longer duration. They also state they have a guarantee on your retainers, but if you need a new one it will cost at least $200. I am not happy with the results of the orthodontics. That said, I had no issues with either doctors or staff.

I sat in his chair for a procedure, and he told me he could't do the procedure because my teeth need to be cleaned first, and he doesn't have time to do that. He or his staff could've mentioned this when we scheduled the appointment, but they did not. I was disappointed I'd have to make a second trip, but I was easy going about it. "Fair enough. Let's get me scheduled for a cleaning, and then we'll reschedule the procedure no problem." Then, he told me he needs to charge me for the visit when literally all he did was tell me I needed a cleaning. I politely raised the question to the staff as I was checking out. "I'm confused. Is it your policy to charge people when you did no procedure and did no cleaning? I was in the chair for approximately one minute." They explained that it was their policy. I paid the bill and left. A few days later I receive a letter from him in the mail. He asked me not to come back and he called me a liar. I was flabbergasted. I didn't agree with his practice of charging a fee for no work being done, but I was never rude to him or his staff. I will not be going back. You won't have to ask me twice. There are much better options nearby by professional, courteous dentists. Stay away from Walker!

Jerilyn was my dental hygienist and she was extremely gentle, yet efficient. She also gave me a few tips on dealing with cold sensitivity on one of my teeth which has helped tremendously over the last few months. To top it off, Dr. So was also very personable and it was so nice to meet a fellow California native! I'm excited to return back for my next cleaning which says a lot coming from a person who doesn't particularly enjoy going to the dentist! The office is also very clean & they have a few parking spots reserved for patients so I did not have to pay for street parking.

Especially since anytime needles are involved I have a tendency to pass out. I have always had great dentists and I think that is part of why I have enjoyed going to the dentist, but at Mass Ave Family Dentistry you are not just getting a fantastic dentist--you are also getting a great team that works well together. Once I informed the dental hygienist, Amanda that I could pass out I was amazed at the extra steps that they took to ensure for both my safety and comfort. Shannon, who was shadowing for the day, and Amanda both did a fantastic job of keeping me talking and making sure that I was feeling ok. Dr.So and Amanda did an amazing job on my filling, it is not noticeable at all and has not changed my bite or smile. I also needed to get part of my permanent retainer fixed and I appreciated that Dr.So and the receptionists let me know that it would likely be cheaper to get it done at my orthodontist's. I think it says a lot about the quality of healthcare professionals when a healthcare office lets you know that there might be cheaper alternatives for the same work! In the end, I decided to get my retainer fixed by Dr.So and Amanda instead of traveling to get it fixed at my orthodontist's office. My retainer has never felt so unnoticeable, once again I really cannot say how amazing the work they did for me was!

I put off going for a few years, so I had 5 cavities today and had to get bonding on my front tooth because it was chipped. Got all 5 cavities done quickly without pain and my bonding looks great!
