Heard nothing about the "delayed" departure from the company in the days following the service. I happened to check my credit card a few days later and saw that the company charged and additional $49 without notifying me of the charge. When I called the Company to inquire about what the charge was and why I did not get a courtesy call about additional fees, a male answered (I believe the owner) who was very defensive from the minute I began to question the charges and extremely RUDE. He talked over me in an effort to justify the charges. While talking over me, he indicated that the late departure was $35 and the other $13 was gratuity. REALLY . . . gratuity on top of the gratuity I was already billed in the ride. The representative from Cooper then stated the they charged the extra fee because the late departure made the driver late for his next pickup at PHL at 10:40pm. Anyone familiar with the area knows you CANNOT get from the NJ Aquarium to East Oak Lane and then to the airport in 40 minutes. Will not use them again - not because of the actual services, but because of the SHADY-NESS and the rude Company representative. The female I had been dealing with previously was polite and helpful. It took me approximately 30 minutes to reach my connecting gate. Fifteen minutes into my walk, I saw signs for a shuttle bus, but it was unclear if utilizing it required exiting and going outside. I was fortunate to have a two-hour layover, but for passengers with tighter connections they could easily miss their flights due to these distances. Implementing an internal tram system would greatly improve the ease of connecting between terminals. I most likely will avoid connecting through Philadelphia in the future unless improvements are made to the transit experience.
