Other renters had been there for over an hour waiting for an employee to arrive. As I was planning on traveling, I called customer support services and was told that both the location was closed and that we should wait for an employee to arrive. All of the other renters were experiencing a similar experience as none of us could get our rental cars. At the very least, signage should have indicated hours of operation if the location was closed or the online system should have rejected our reservations if the location was closed. If no one was present and the location was open, there should have been a better medium to contact someone with to resolve the issue. I had to cancel my reservation using a reservation specialist through my credit card company. While I'm grateful that I was able to be refunded and will get my money back within the week, my plans were completely disrupted as I was unable to get a car. I contacted corporate and I will not plan on using this location in the future. I will also encourage my peers not to use this location as no one should face this level of stress.

No one was there two days in a row. Three people were trying to return a car. One person was trying to rent a car. We tried to return a car first and rent a car a day later. The weekend employee didn't show up. The manager and employee who work during the week wouldn't come in. Corporate customer service was useless even though we're Avis preferred customers. We were appalled and didn't know how we were going to get a car to drive to NYC. Thank goodness Beth from the Yorkville location came over when their location closed and helped us get everything squared away, with no help from the actual employees from this location.

After we talked to the insurance we realized that they would only pay for a portion of our repair since it has tons of after market additions. (Yup we will be litigating) and we had the wrong insurance for that. It is a lifted Jeep with lots of add ons. So we opted to buy a new car and slowly have the car repaired. I ended up in the ER the next day. So we figured this out 2 days after my accident we called to have the car towed back to our house. It is literally 5 miles away. The owner never answered. We called again the day after. We also called and emailed during the weekend. No answer. The next day was a Monday. My husband called and he told him it was $950. He also told him that I refused to have the vehicle towed to my house. PS I never talked to this guy on the scene of my accident. It was a rollover and I was able to walk away but I was stunned that I lived. So my husband called him on an 3 way call. I explained that it was asked if he could take it to our house since he has to take it by our house and again he stated that I talked to him. He stated that I stated that I didn't have cash on site. I never talked to him. He then stated that I also didn't have insurance. Umm yes dumbass or I did or I would have been gotten a citation at the scene. He then stated that I pay up or give him the title. Nice scam! He doesn't accept any other payment but cash. Wtactualf? So I showed up with cash and again he was a raging asshole and then it was $200 more dollars to take it 5 miles back to my house. He then said again stated that I didn't have insurance. I offered to show him. asked for an itemized receipt and he wrote the delivery fee in? Scam again. I have heard others say that the same thing has happened at other Budget offices too! I feel finally DONE with Budget forever, considering the horrific lack of decent customer service.
