I upgraded so I could get a sedan that was similar to my vehicle. I was given a Nissan Altima. However, the interior of the vehicle was FILTHY! Every seat had stuff spilled on it. The car had been heavily smoked in. The windows were fogged due to this. I couldn't see through the back window when the sun was shining on it. Since I am allergic to cigarette smoke, my eyes itched, swelled up, and turned red. Plus, I had respiratory issues: coughing, sneezing, sinus and chest congestion. There was even fur in the car. The car look like Dirty Mike and the Boys used this car for several days, and a raccoon gave birth behind the driver's seat. There was even ketchup or barbecue sauce or some unknown substance smeared on the interior light buttons. Additionally, the car hadn't been serviced in over 10,000 miles. It was supposed to be serviced at 26,007 miles. The car's mileage was 36,944 miles. I did not feel very confident driving this vehicle. I have photographs of everything that I've talked about. When I rented, I saw the filthy front two seats, and I wanted a different car. The Enterprise person helping me stated that this was the only vehicle in the sedan pricing. The Enterprise person also told me that they had tried to get the stains out. Since I didn't want to pay any more out of pocket, I took this vehicle. I didn't see all the other nastiness until I got home. Since I do not live in town, I didn't drive back to Enterprise. The condition of this vehicle was absolutely disgusting and should not have been rented out. The car was so unsanitary. I feel really disgusted that Enterprise felt that the car was safe and clean enough to rent out. Enterprise should be embarrassed and ashamed.

This is the only Enterprise location I have ever had a bad experience with. I reserved a Standard SUV via Enterprise online reservation system as I always have using my plus number. Friday, June 7, 2024 - I picked up the Nissan Rouge for a week long rental. I made it 10 minutes from the store when the ground effects on the vehicle came loose. On inspection I found that the fasteners had not been replaced after servicing. I called back immediately to the pickup location, the young agent refused to assist me, he was too busy and said he couldn't get another car anyway. I respectfully asked who could I call for any help and he suggested the Topeka Blvd Enterprise office - I asked for the number, He gave me the wrong phone number to call - I found the correct number and called them (BTW the Topeka Blvd staff did an excellent job getting us on our way later that same day). Upon returning the replacement Nissan to the West Topeka location the same agent was neither apologetic or showed concern, only mentioning that his boss would offer me a discount. I rented from Enterprise again at two different locations (July-Sept 2024) using the Enterprise online system. October 2024 I reserved a car for 2 days via the online reservation for this location and received as usual a confirmation number 1667350288. Arriving at the West Topeka location for the pickup we are met by the same agent from our past poor experience. He informed me that he was now the manager and had no vehicle for us. He went on to belittle my wife and me for using the Enterprise online system for any reason as it was totally unreliable and useless. I tried to inform him that I had used that same system for years with no issues. He didn't care and continued to admonish me for my bad judgement. My wife turned to me and said she was leaving in disgust. I followed her leaving my last opinion of his management style. As we made our way home, I vowed to never rent from this location ever again. When I arrived home I used the national system to find another Enterprise location that could rent that day. They found one for me at their Gardner office I asked if they were sure that one was there and was told that if it should available in their system it was there for pickup. I now happily rent from Budget and Avis... James Doyle - CS6PCJS

I specifically asked for one I saw on the website. Tami stated that "it was the oldest and smallest but if that is what I wanted, that was fine". I said I did not see other sedans, only an SUV, which I did not want. She stated they were getting a newer one in soon. I told her that would be great. What picked up my daughter on her wedding day was a small crossover SUV. So plain and small, just an ordinary car. It was ridiculous. But of course, you are required to pre-pay the whole amount, so there is nothing you can do. The day after the wedding I emailed to express my disappointment. Tami asked what they could do to make it right. I requested a 50% refund. She agreed. I never got it, even though I have emailed two more times.
