My wife and I departed Denver on 13 Dec 2017 in our BMW M6 and were bound for Chicago. After…read moredriving for about five hours we decided to get a hotel in Colby, Kansas. We got up the next morning and when I looked at the outside of my car, I knew we were in trouble: oil was all over the side of my door and was dripping within both front wheels. Knowing there was a serious oil leak some place, I decided to start it up so that I could check the oil level and found we were more than 1.3 quarts low. After making a few phone calls to local auto parts stores (grand total of two) to find the required oil for our M6, I had no luck. With no certified BMW repair shops within at least 100 miles, we had no choice but to get back on I-70 east and start driving. We drove about 20 miles when the lighted warning came on that read 'oil level is below the mininum and continued driving could damage your engine'. We took the next exit, which happened to be a TA Truck Stop and Repair in Oakley Kansas. Before going in, my wife and I prayed for Gods assistance in this predicament we were in. I went in and told the guy in the shop our situation and his only suggestion was to call the NAPA auto parts store up the road to see if they had oil. I called and they said they could overnight however much I needed and have it by 730am the next morning. So I drove over there, paid for the oil and asked him if there was a local shop that could hoist up my vehicle to help find the leak. I drove over to the place and the guy came out, shook my hand and said he was expecting me. His concern was genuine and appreciated. They hoisted it up, took off the plastic guard, and cleaned off the oil (and there was ALOT of oil). Within 15 minutes they found the exact part that was leaking: the oil cooler located in front of the radiator. BOOM! Thats what we needed. But being in the middle of Kansas where no one drives a BMW, the closest place to go to was BMW/Volkswagon in Topeka, about 250 miles away. So I called them and was connected to Melissa in the service department. After listening to our situation, she totally prioritized an appointment for us and then transferred me to the parts department to assess availability of the needed part (oil cooler). The parts guy took all of my information (including the VIN for my M6) and found out that they did not stock the part but said it could be overnighted and arrive by 9am the next morning. So they placed the order and we hoped for the best. Fortunately, the oil arrived at NAPA autoparts the next morning and after adding two quarts were started our journey to Topeka with the oil leak in full flow. Melissa had asked to keep BMW Volkswagon informed of our travel progress and give them an ETA when they could expect us. We kept in contact during the trip and after having to add one more quart of oil during the trip, we arrived at BMW Volkswagon in Topeka about four and a half hours later. Melissa met us at the service entrance and despite the fact that our car got oil all over their indoor driveway, the staff there was extremely helpful and professional. I honestly felt like we were in a hospital emergency room for BMW's. They (Melissa) graciously provided a loaner car and also gave a list of local hotels to stay in since we had planned on staying in Topeka that evening. After arriving at the hotel, they called and providing us with an estimate to install the part. They then proceeded to install the new oil cooler in record time as only professional BMW techicians could do. As if that was not enough, BMW Volkswagon (Melissa) was further gracious by deliveriing our fully restored BMW M6 to the hotel and picked up the loaner, saving us a trip of having to drive it back. BMW Volkswagon also gave us a very nice courtesy travel gift to top it off. As I look back over all of this and the way events just fell into place, I firmly believe God answered our prayers and worked out the details using awesome people in Oakley Kansas and the awesome staff at BMW Volkswagon in Topeka Kansas. Thank you all and Merry Christmas.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond frustrating…read more We brought our vehicle in for a "no start" issue. We left with more damage than we arrived with an O2 sensor that had been chewed through and a hole in the airbag suspension line. The vehicle had no codes related to the O2 sensor before this visit and was in stable condition when it left our home. When we raised these concerns, they refused to take responsibility or even consider that the damage may have occurred on their property. Instead of making it right, we had to pay to have the vehicle towed elsewhere, where it was properly repaired at a much more reasonable price. To make matters worse, their pricing was significantly higher than other locations, to the point that our warranty didn't even cover the full bill. As a business owner myself, I believe in standing behind your work and taking care of customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would strongly caution others before choosing this place. Our experience left us with more problems than we started with.
