    Please don't waste your time. Terrible terrible Terrible! I went in at my appointment time to get a car. The guy says oh you booked it late yesterday and we didn't get it. I don't understand how we booked it too late when I got a confirmation at 2:41 saying my reservation was confirmed through text. Anyways they said they didn't have a full size available and to make another reservation. When I called how much it would be for a small/compact car it cost more than my original reservation for a full size car. They wouldn't give me the same price that I originally had even though it was a smaller car they were offering. The guy helping me was no help and when he called the manager to ask if he could give me the same price, apparently the manager said no. We left disappointed with the customer service and the lack of having a car available even with a reservation. We went straight to Enterprise and Omg got a car on the spot. Here's a picture of my confirmation that I reserved a car and for them to tell me I reserved it too late.

    I have been renting from this Avis/Budget location since they first moved here and opened up. Since they opened I have had nothing but a great experience. If I have my reservation, the check-out time is lightning fast, and even if I don't have anything prepared, the staff here will take care of you and make sure you are out in a dependable car quickly and efficiently (if they have cars available). The manager Guillermo comes off as someone serious, but he is just making sure you get the car you reserved, and have a great rental experience. Fabricio is all smiles, and very welcoming when you enter the location. Together, these two have such a great dynamic, that they have not only had me coming back here for years, but also built a loyal customer base. I have see some pictures of dirty vehicles, and I will say I did receive one once, but it honestly wasn't that dirty and I specifically asked if I could just take it as is because I needed to go. Even though Fabricio said it would take him 10 minutes to vacuum and wipe down, I declined. They inspect the car with you, and allow you to inspect the inside as well. Everyone has the opportunity to request another car, or even change one out at any Avis location if there is an issue. Small locations usually have big hearts, and these guys show it.

    I was a bit apprehensive in renting a car from this location,because of the reviews. Actually AAA sent me to the Thousand Oaks location,a bit far.I would rather contribute to local businesses or in the area. When renting a car always check for discounts on-line,or their your own personal insurance and or though AAA and AArp. They provide many discounts.You just have to do a little work. Now prior to me picking up the car,I followed up with this location just to make sure everything was ok and confirmed. Always check and follow up. Sometimes customers don't return the cars back on the days their suppose to or even on the times their suppose to.Just 411. Rather than me wait for a standard class vehicle that I had reserved,the employee Ravis up graded my car to a higher model vehicle at no additional cost.This was service. Its not the customers fault that customers don't return the cars back when their suppose to.Great Job. So thanks to the potter also for making sure my car was clean and also for returning me back to my residence.Thank You !!!!!. 024/100 Yelp Challenge.(2016)

    If I can give negative 5 stars I would. Rented from this company before. Had a bad experience but things happen and thought I'd give them a second chance. Needed to rent a car this time for a wedding in Vegas. You know you're in trouble when the MANAGER hands you the inspection slip to sign before I even have a chance to inspect the vehicle. This picture is being nice. Can't believe they would rent a car that had been keyed and smelled like terrible B.O. inside. I would have paid a bit more per day for another vehicle but the best he could do was more than double what I was already paying. I rent vehicles often and have never experienced such horrendous customer service. I've learned to speak to management before posting negative reviews. Unfortunately the manager here doesn't care at all about his customers. I have learned my lesson and hope my misfortunes will help you make a better choice when choosing your car rental company.

I called Tuesday morning so that they can grab them for me and they grabbed my wallet locked it in a safe and haven't been able to get it out. I went on Tuesday to go pick it up. They had a malfunction with the safe and we're busy so I didn't want to stress them out and I left the manager. Max said that he would give me a call before the end of business that didn't happen I called the next day and he said he needed to get a technician. I didn't have a problem with that. He said he would give me a call by the end of the day on Wednesday and he didn't do that either. I wait until about noon today. Still no call. I called him and he starts using curse. Words starts getting angry he says. " I got a lot of **** going on. What can I tell you" I asked him if that's how he wants to talk to customers and he says "Yup" My work boots which I need for work they never got out of the car and now I have to wait weeks to be able to get them back because the customer who has the car is off on vacation. What if they deliver the truck to another enterprise? What do I do now? I understand I'm the one who made a mistake, but Max the manager has failed to communicate or to even be polite. He had the audacity to challenge me to call his regional manager after he cursed at me again " I have a lot of **** going on. What the **** do you want me to tell you we dropped the ball." I did not curse at him. I didn't yell at him. I didn't raise my voice. I really hope they actually recorded that phone call so they can address his behavior because what Max did was unacceptable I really hope someone else doesn't have to deal with that. I wrote an email to the regional manager. I hope that she gets back to me.

    I had a car reserved from State Farm. I called Hertz and they were supposed to get me a Lyft. Hertz…read morecorporate said the local office wasn't answering and they would "escalate the call" but still they never called back. So I called Hertz directly and still no answer. So I walked 15 to the location and decided to let the phone ring the entire time. When I arrived, the phone inside the office was ringing and a man "Ash" was sitting there ignoring the phone doing nothing. I asked why he wouldn't answer the phone and he became rude and aggressive towards me. Finally he went to help me get my rental and first he went to the wrong vehicle which took about 10 minutes and then he went to another vehicle. He was pretending to have problems with the app. He seemed to be intentionally prolonging the process and intentionally inconveniencing me by making me wait another 10 minutes or so. Then he walked away rudely once he gave me the keys. I will never do business with this location again.

GMC uses this vendor for service loaners . The only complaint is transaction time is Slllllooooooowww. This past time they gave me a freshly detailed vehicle but sprayed a god awful perfume in the car and it even stunk up my garage when i had to leave the windows open. The smell was overwhelming .I returned at my dealer with a full tank so the return is always convenient .

    I understand that people's experience and expectations may vary, but I was surprised to read so…read moremany negative reviews about this particular Hertz Car Rental location. In spite of this, I decided to try it out anyway and rent a car from them for a 4-day family road trip, thinking "how bad can it really be?". Well, wanting to be as fair a customer as possible, I'm happy to report my experience with them was excellent. The staff there was attentive, efficient and extremely courteous. The process was fast, the price extremely competitive, and all went without any issue. I really cannot fault them for anything, except maybe that the car they lent me could have been a bit cleaner inside and out (but I'm a clean freak, so that's on me - no one else in my party complained about it). On the plus side, the tank was full from the get-go. Nice. Regarding the car itself, it was great: I was given the choice between several full-size SUV's, and I ended up picking a 2020 Infiniti QX60 for the road trip. What a great ride!

Unfortunately I picked it up for usage just before the office closed for the day and so my only option for help was the 24 hour roadside assistance, however it took over 2 hours for an answer to my phone calls. They provided a tow that also took hours to arrive. It was 3:36am to be precise. I called to ask for a refund of my rental as I was unable to utilize it in which I was notified that the vehicle was missing and never arrived to tow location and that I was being charged until it was found. For days I have been trying to track down vehicle. I found it had been placed in storage as the tow was given wrong address for drop off. I did not give the wrong address, Hertz 24 hour roadside assistance did. Something this location could have found out. Instead they lied and said they had no notification of tow in first place. They refused to take information as to where vehicle was located and said they would not close my rental out until it was returned to location. I again tried to tell them where the vehicle was. They said it was above their pay grade to contact tow company (their tow company!) In the course of the day I was hung up on 4 times by this thousand oaks location, including when I asked to speak to their supervisor. They then would answer and hang up immediately when seeing my phone number. To deny helping customer resolve issue with something I had no control of is ridiculous. Billing and customer service both referred me back to the location to resolve yet the location continued to refuse to speak to me in regards and hung up on me. I was not rude, yet was treated extremely poorly. This is a money grab. Charging customers for additional days when they know where the vehicle is and how to get it but refusing and reporting no knowledge. Hanging up on customer is not no knowledge, it is refusal and corruption. I also had purchased the "insurance" yet had zero help in closing out something I had nothing to do with. The only way I knew the vehicle did not arrive at hertz facility from tow was because I saw over $400 additional in charges to my credit card along with the deposit that was never returned. Nobody from TO location bothered to contact me, just kept charging my card. MONEY GRAB. Shame on them and rude employees that need fired. Please corporate listen to the recorded phone calls and hear how unprofessional and rude your employees are at the thousand oaks location. Customers take business elsewhere or be ripped off.
