Apparently, the detailer found my bag and gave it to the next customer who rented the car. I honestly couldn't believe it. It then took three days to get my belongings back. During that time, I didn't have my work badge or parking pass, which created a huge hassle at work. When I finally got the bag back, one item was missing. I do give Enterprise credit for ultimately trying to help me retrieve the bag and getting in contact with the customer. However, I really don't think my belongings should have been handed over to another customer in the first place, especially when I returned within 10 minutes of realizing I had left them behind. One star for their efforts to help retrieve the bag, but the entire situation was incredibly stressful and unnecessarily inconvenient.

She apologized right away and wanted to fix it immediately. When I came in, the whole team was friendly, smiling, and ready to help. They got me into a much nicer vehicle that did not smell like a dog at all. Every single person I interacted with was super nice and super helpful. They made the whole process easy from start to finish. When I returned the car, they even gave me a ride back to the Cadillac dealership. That extra step really stood out. Overall, I had an awesome experience with this Enterprise team. They took care of me every step of the way and made sure I left happy.

They use all up to date technology and have plenty of newer cars. They even have their own car wash on site to make sure everything is clean. I want to focus one one problem which has now happened twice. Avis rented a Chevy Malibu to me and while driving to Las Vegas the CHECK ENGINE OIL light came on. That makes me nervous as I'm driving my family through Death Valley. I took the time to purchase oil and ultimately swapped the car prior to the return drive across the desert. That's time and money taken from my trip. And it has happened twice, with two different vehicles. The time it took to make the transfer of vehicles made it impossible to return the car to Woodland Hills on time. So I was charged for an extra day. I'd like to see these companies put more effort into vehicle maintenance so that these things don't happen to us.

Without flinching, he casually announced that they didn't have the car I booked. His "solution"? Pay significantly more money for a different vehicle. I laid out the facts: I had a confirmed reservation, a confirmed rate, and corporate verification. He didn't care in the slightest. He flatly refused to honor the booking, didn't offer a single apology, made zero effort to make things right, and repeatedly insisted that if I wanted to leave with a vehicle, I had to cough up more cash. That is the textbook definition of a bait-and-switch, and it is completely illegal. Holding a customer hostage at the counter after they traveled to pick up a confirmed reservation just to extort more money out of them is predatory and shameful. I am filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and reporting this deceptive practice to consumer protection agencies. Checking the trunk and cleaning the vehicle should be part of preparing a rental for the next customer.
