When…read moreI returned my vehicle, I made sure that everything was fine (clean vehicle, full of gas etc.) I didn't want to have some kind of surcharge for whatever reasons. We completed the transaction. They told me that everything was fine. About two months later, I saw on my credit cards that Enterprise decided to charge me some extra fees for insurance ($132.24). At the time of the rental, nobody told me that I would have to pay these fees. When I returned the car, they told me that everything was fine and that they released the pre approved credit card $150.00 requested in case of gas etc. One month later, without noticing me, they used that pre approved transaction to charge some extra insurance cost. I contacted my car insurance company who covered the rental cost. They told me that they covered all the cost. I contacted Enterprise. They also told me that the insurance company covered all the cost but came back later changed their payment and withdrew the insurance cost from the rental cost. About one month after I returned the car, and without any notice, Enterprise decided to charge me $132.24. At the time of the transaction, Enterprise tried to up sale by offering extra protection, extra for winter tires ... I declined all these offers trying to keep the cost as low as possible. I wonder why they asked, because they charged me anyway. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have rented a car there.

The facility's environment is tidy & professional, adding to the feeling that everything's in order. This same dedication to detail is maintained through the "paperwork" process. Once the preliminary details are entered into the computer, they use a tablet to note the condition of the car. This also makes it convenient for you to initial specifics and sign the contract before they immediately email or print you a copy. For the first time, I found my latest rental had horrible lines of sight and the headrest made for an extremely uncomfortable drive. I was provided a replacement without question, that was larger and more comfortable than expected. As a result, I felt safer on the road. I very much appreciated their accommodating me without any hassle. Bottom line, the customer service at this Enterprise location is top of the line. If I could, I would only deal with these individuals at every Enterprise I ever walk into.

They ended up charging me $378 dollars for the extra night saying first that I dropped the vehicle off 3 extra days later (which i did not), and then insisting i caused damaged, which i did not. They agreed to refund me and then still did not, even after calling repeatedly to check on my refund which they still insisted was coming. Its been two months and they are still trying to charge me for damage and late fees. Will not use this service again and recommend against Enterprise. Very unimpressed.

Booked a car through Melissa on July 29, as my vehicle was going in for hail repairs. She took all…read moremy information over the phone and we arranged meeting at the body shop on July 31, at 4 pm. (She did tell me she was out of the office, but was writing the booking on paper) .I wanted a later time, but she told me their office closed at 5 and they needed to be back at it by then. I arranged to leave my job 2.5 hours early to meet her, and much to my dismay they were not at the body shop with a rental for me. Three phone calls and 1/2 hour later, someone finally answered the phone. It was Melissa, and I questioned where my rental was....that is when she asked if I had received a confirmation email about a reservation. I told her no, as I did not know that I was supposed to receive one, and that I had booked through her on Monday personally. At that point she told me, well you never booked a rental then! I asked how I was supposed to get home, or to work the next day...I live 25 km from town, and she basically told me it wasn't her issue and they could do nothing to help me. I asked to speak to her manager, and she had left for the day already, so I asked her to contact her so we could get the mess sorted out. Nope. No help. She informed me that she would have the manager call me in the morning....they open at 8 am. It's now 1:15 pm the following day and I still have not heard from anyone. And I lost 2.5 hours of work over the ordeal. The customer service is by far the poorest I have delt with in a very long time. Melissa simply did not care, or offer apologies at all. She even at one point admitted talking to me on the Monday but not booking me a car. Rating..extremely POOR!!!

I was lied to, told they would provide a rental while they had my vehicle in their shop After their shoddy work dimples all the transmission fluid on the streets of red deer. Then they tie into the transmission without my authorization, attempted to minimize their responsibility, refused to pay for the rental they offered, stick me with the car rental bill, 22 days to get a transmission back together. It's not badmouthing or libel or slander if it's truth. Anyone can contact me for the story. I've had estimate of $3500 to undo their mess... Still wanna go there??? Call AMVIC before you agree to any sort of agreement. even if you agree to a zero dollar deal, to get your vehicle out of their shop, any agreement, cancels out your right to action through AMVIC. These guys know how to work the system, and the customer Hope this review saves someone else the grief...
