    Rude and dishonest employee.

    I will never rent from Avis again. I was told if I brought my car back a day early I could get the extra hundred dollars a day back. I brought it more than 24 hours in advance. I'm not only told I would not be given or credited that amount but I couldn't get the car back. I ask for a manager, this guy Jens told me there was no manager on duty but I could wait 15 minutes for that person . Actually what he was doing (he's right outside and I see him) was smoking a cigarette and never went and asked for a manager so he was dishonest with me as well. He was the rudest person I've ever dealt with at any rental car counter and I travel for a living. If Avis employs people like that, I'm not ever using Avis again. He just walked to the other side of the counter to avoid me and said "I don't have to tell you anything." Then when I call customer service from there to complain, the guy keeps quoting me to read the contract. No care about this guys rudeness. One thing to add, my company has a major contract with Avis. I will be telling them about this. DO NOT rent from Avis!

    Normally I have no problems here. Today I was met with Quinn at the counter who does not know company policy. I have rented over 100 cars here and am well aware of the policy that states to use a debit card you must have proof of return travel. I have proof of return travel. I showed Quinn the rental policy from Avis website for the location of Portland. He still denied me the rental. I asked him to show me the policy where it states I cannot rent the car. He said he didn't have it and was not able to. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied. This caused me a massive inconvenience and find it unnaceptable. Will be filing a formal complaint with corporate. Unacceptable.

    Foreign 3rd party customer (so called) service couldn't help me with my reservation at Portland Maine at all.
