I had the unfortunate need for a vehicle recently, and Enterprise in Saco were the folks to help me…read moreout. After a miscommunication between my insurance and Enterprise, I was set-up with a Jeep Renegade for a month. It was new, it was super clean, and it was enormous, but the Enterprise folks did a fantastic job making sure I felt comfortable driving it (and offered to switch me out to something smaller if I ever got overwhelmed). I didn't end up driving it that much, but we did have a major snowstorm during my rental period, and I can see how a car like this makes a difference in slick weather! I digress. The staff checked in with me throughout the course of the month to see how I was getting on, to make sure we were all on the same page (the insurance, the repair shop, them, and me), and to reassure me when I started getting panicky about the process. To be fair, they were the friendliest voices throughout the entire ordeal. Our very last call was just to let me know they received the car back, it was in great condition, they were appreciative to receive it back with a half tank of gas (which is exactly how it was given to me), and that the $100 hold on my card was going to be taken off. "We hope the next time you use Enterprise it's for a super fun trip somewhere and not for car repairs!" was how our relationship ended. Overall, the customer service was exceptional and appreciated as I was 11/10 stressed the entire time and, admittedly, not my best self to them initially. Thanks for your patience, folks! Traveled to Saco on the train from Boston and Jared called to confirm our arrival that morning and…read morewhen I mentioned we would be getting a taxi from the train station, he offered to have an employee pick us up. They were there waiting when we got off the train (even with the train being delayed) and had everything ready to go when we arrived at the office. On Saturday, September 28th, eight days later, we returned the vehicle (which was great) and when we had difficulty finding an Uber to take us back the train station, the employee (I feel horrible that I cannot remember his name) offered to take us back when he closed (about 30 minutes after we finished dropping off the car). We were very grateful and appreciate of the above and beyond service both picking up and dropping off. Highly recommend Enterprise in Saco if you need a rental car in the area. Thanks again to the great crew there for taking such good care of us.

The girl at the desk says it was her day off and he is the only one here that can do propane. I guess they do a lot of propane. #1 if he is the only one there don't schedule a hitch install and if you need it for the 6 hours just say it. They could have been honest. Then they left my car unlocked and where they are located I feel that wasn't a wise decision. Its in the back of their building next to the street.

I have never had such awful customer service. It started…read morewhen I was denied access to my unit during the stated "storage access hours" of between "5am - 10pm" as stated on my receipt. I was hung up on by the manager after I requested a refund. This led to me having to call out of work the next day so I could catch my flight on time. That cost me $140 for missing work and I had no other options than to use this storage unit even though I didn't want to anymore because of the loss of money and time crunch I was forced into. Then my alternative contact was harassed not even two days of myself being late on my payment. After the way the start of this process went, uhaul was not on my priority list of bills being paid. Maine has a 15 day grace period regardless and the 7 attempts to harass myself and my alternative contact before I was even a week late was very inappropriate. Upon arrival all the way from North Carolina, and completely paid up for at least 2 weeks, I arrive to a lock on my unit claiming I haven't paid my balance. The manager let me in and never so much as apologized for the Misunderstanding, nor have I received an apology for the very beginning of this awful experience. While finishing up it was not even 7pm yet and I was already being asked if I was almost done. If the "storage access hours" differ from the "storage office hours" then the receipt I received on every payment is incorrect and should be fixed for future customers. I checked in and checked out that night and The very next day my fiancé went to empty the storage unit of the things I could not lift as I'm pregnant. When he put the code in my storage unit was now denied access. I have emailed Jennifer Strout to fix the initial issue at hand and she has had no response. I will not ever use this location again for my moving needs. If I ever have to use uhaul again it will be the last resort.
