I have leased many cars before so I'm aware that you always have to pay for your registration/plates no matter where you go but I really put zero down paid my plates and tax and got the car at the advertised price. When I went to the dealer to test drive this car I spoke to a salesman and he wanted almost $7000 upfront and about $200 more a month. When I showed him the prices that M&V were offering he insisted that that was a scam he even got the manager and the manger said there is no way you can get this car at that price because any dealer will be loosing money with M&V's prices. Also I wanted dynamic handling on my car but the dealer once again told me there wasn't any car in NJ in stock with that option and dissuaded me from getting that option, so if I wanted that it would have to be a custom order and he therfor couldn't offer me any deals on any car that wasn't on their lot. I saw some reviews where people said someone some things that weren't all that positive but I assure you that this place is totally legit. I spoke with John and he made picking my car with all the options I wanted and didn't want painless for me. This really beats going to the dealer and waiting for hours while they get your car ready and have to negotiate a price down. I built my custom BMW online sent it to John, got to track it on the BMW website step by step and picked up the car at BMW in Brooklyn about 8 weeks later, I did have the option to have them deliver it but I just couldn't wait the Memorial day weekend out.

It was raining pretty heavily and they worked as a team to get the vehicle checked in. They were all friendly and verified that there had been no issues with the vehicle.

I reserved a Standard SUV at the Budget/Avis in 343 South Ave E, Westfield NJ. What I was being…read moregiven was a Mazda CX-5. I looked at the car and immediately knew it would be too small for us. I also did a quick search to see if a Mazda CX-5 was considered a Standard SUV at Budget/Avis and it came back with: "No, at Budget/Avis, a Mazda CX-5 is classified as a Midsize/Intermediate SUV, not a Standard SUV. Budget specifically lists the Mazda CX-5 under its "Midsize or Intermediate SUV" category." I did not order a Mid-Size. I ordered a Standard SUV. I was not going to take this rental car and unfortunately they did not have any other car available. This was the point when the employee assisting me, Angel Otero, escalated the situation. He argued about the car size while processing my refund. And when I had questions about the refund paperwork, Angel became increasingly confrontational. I told him that he should not speak to customers the way he was speaking to me. His response was: "This is how I speak to idiots." For the record, I have rented from this location before and had a great experience with the owner. Which is why I chose to rent from here again. Unfortunately, my experience this time with Angel was enough to assure I find a new car rental spot.
