In August 2017, we started looking at car services to take us from the hotel we were staying at in Southern New Jersey to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal and back after the cruise. After getting a recommendation from someone in our cruise group, I looked into Jersey Drive Services to fill this need. I started the process by going to their Facebook page and sending a message through Messenger. Within minutes, I had a response from Giuseppe. To make it easier, we started texting by phone to go over the details since he would be doing runs throughout the day. Once we got everything in order, the pricing was more than fair for the length of drive. We booked this service almost three months in advance of the actual trip. Payment was easy as well, as he will give you a link on your phone to pay it. A receipt will come to your email as well. Fast forward to the actual trip. The day before, Giuseppe sent me a text message reminding me of the pick up time for the following day. It's great to get that type of service. On his way down to pick us up, he even asked our favorite music genre, so he already had that going in the car when he arrived. Giuseppe arrived on time to the hotel. We had quite a few bags, so he was good at juggling the bags in the back of the car for everything to fit comfortably and safely. It wasn't long before we were on the road to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. We had some great conversations along the 1.5 hour ride to the terminal. We all learned quite a bit about each other. He is very down to earth and great to talk and communicate with. He even showed us some photos of some of the points of interest in New York City. It was also great to see a different way into the port. Due to traffic, we went into NYC on the George Washington Bridge instead of the Lincoln Tunnel. We made it to the terminal earlier than expected too. That worked out well too since the terminal opened early as well. One week later, after our cruise was over, we were still in contact with Giuseppe for the pick up to take us back to the hotel. Even with all the craziness going on that morning after the cruise, he got here at a reasonable time with little wait on our end. Once we got out of NYC, the drive back was quite smooth (there was a lot of stop and go traffic in the city). We got back to the hotel about 1.5 hours later, which was about the amount of time I would have expected. Overall, this was an exceptional experience with Jersey Drive Services and Giuseppe. He was very professional and courteous the entire trip both ways and helped us with luggage too. I have been looking for a reliable and professional car service for some time now and I believe I have found it in Jersey Drive Services. My wife had to fly to Atlanta unexpectedly this past week. Jersey Drive was super responsive and very easy to book. Joe is an excellent and safe driver which is incredibly important to us for obvious reasons. I've been in cars where the driver actually committed a moving violation on the way to the airport, or had one hand on the bottom of the wheel going 80 mph on Route 78. Scary to say the least. We had a 730am flight and thought we could get an Uber at 4am but nothing was available. I found this company on Yelp. We called several car services that said they were open 24/7 and only Jersey Drive Services had a voice mail message that gave instructions to send a text message.
