    If I could give a negative 10- I would! We we're dropped off at 9pm, one person working and the line was around the building, around 10, there were 3 employees, we didn't get inside until around 11pm, by then there were 5 employees, thought it would go faster....NO! At midnight there were 4 employees, one sat at the end counter doing nothing one guy at the other end too 20 minutes per customer. The only highlight was the one gentleman that was getting customers in and out in about 5 minutes each. We Will NEVER reserve from BUDGET OR AVIS again, in any state we travel to.. this is the most disappointing experience ever! At the Denver location out side the airport, there are no other places to go, we were stuck unless we ordered an Uber. Very disappointed!!! Please don't support this company, it's outright ridiculous!

    I was actually happy with my experience at this Avis car rental location. They had my reservation ready and I knew where to locate my car upon arrival. I did that quick check out from the text I received with a QR code. The car they provided for me was within the class I ordered. The car was clean and new and wonderful. Returning the car was just as easy as picking it up. Home run!

    Employee was super nice and super quick without a line. The bus was pretty packed with people but the driver did a great job of helping everyone with their heavy luggage. We got our car no problem and would use them again.

    First of all the whole service was just wrong. There is one worker working the shift???? I was waiting in line for a good hour, including other costumers also having problems with their cars. SMH, AVOID AT ALL COST..!!

    After baggage claim, you head straight to island 4 where all rental companies buses wait to take passengers to the rental hubs. Have experienced this for the first time. The Avis bus was readily available when we walked out of the terminal, driver was really nice, helped us with luggage during pick up and drop off. At the site, there are 2 lines, one for Avis preferred members and other for non-members. Despite being a member and having a reservation already, I had to wait in line for about 50 minutes. There were two associates at the reception. When my turn came finally, it was a smooth process. Got the key within 5 minutes for a similar car I reserved for. The Ford Expedition I got had super nice interior. The car needed oil change but rest of it was mechanically just fine. It served us fine throughout the 4 day strip, going up down the steep Interstate highways of Colorado at 75-85 mph. On the day of return, I pulled over at the return section, they scanned the barcode and I was good to go. I hope on a bus standing right next to the car and went to the terminal. Other than the long waiting line at the beginning, I had a great rental experience from this Avis. I hope I can just reserve my next car from the app instead of waiting in line.

    Don't come if you are in a rush, highly recommend Turo...been in line for 30-45 minutes and they only have 3 people working....

So our experience with SIXT has been great for the times we have used them (CA, AZ, CO). From the free upgrades to the wonderful folks we have met. CO is no exception. The folks were so friendly. Even with the bit of snafu we had with our reservation not showing in the system everyone was still focused on great customer service. And from someone who comes from a CS background I am always paying attention to the service. Then we almost got stranded, because the battery and the key was dead, and the car almost turned off. We had to go 30 minutes out of our way to go to a store to buy a key battery. They didn't do anything to reimburse us for that. Please do not rent from this company. They will send you an email saying that they're very sorry, and they understand, but never do anything about it. Most disingenuous customer service I have ever experienced. Longer lines, tension between the written word and the action, and a car that was possibly the worst performing car I've driven. The shuttle picked us up quickly, which was great! The driver was nice and helpful. Then, more than 30 minutes waiting, even after doing the online checkin. They needed to verify documents, so there is no benefit to the online checkin, you're in the same line as everyone. Was told I'd be charged a $200 deposit, no problem. Then, they charged a $250 deposit. That would have been ok, I just like to have words and action to match. The car was a standard SUV. The car was such a gutless gas-guzzling SUV. Returning the car was odd. I pulled up and into the line of cars. After 10 minutes, I began to go inside and a worker motioned for me to move the car over to the line next to the one I parked. I moved, he was gone. I just walked around the car and filmed its condition, took pictures of the clean interior, and the full gas level. I went to the bus. So very strange. And, the shuttle driver was great, a nice guy that was very helpful to everyone. The drivers earned the two stars.

    I'll never understand why these rental car places install 15-20 registration computers and then use…read moretwo or three of them at the most, leaving a line of folks to wait upwards of an hour. My wait was long; upwards of an hour after arriving by shuttle. The staff member was friendly, though I feel like the rates were all over the place. I also feel like they blast the music in the lobby so you can't hear with they're saying when they go over the rates. The electronic pad for signing didn't work so I guess I didn't need to really sign for anything. The most important point to ponder is: the car. The car, with all its 52K miles, is like new on the inside, well maintained, and clean, clean, clean. Because of this I jumped from two to three stars. The rates are a bit much, but the car is impressively good. Friendly staff, just not enough of them.

Went to the counter- not sure what the agents have to do but it's a very long process with lots of key clicks. I asked the agent to confirm we had an AWD and he confirmed. Went to the vehicle and of course it wasn't. Stood back in line for another 10+ minutes and got a different agent. She said they can't guarantee AWD- even if they have a listing for such that you paid extra for (dont list as an option if you don't actually have). So she swapped us to another vehicle and said she'd comp the gas. When I returned the vehicle- they charged me for gas. So I waited in line again, and had to re-explain to another agent why I was given the discount. So double-check your statement for misleading billing.

    Rented a full size SUV online for $400 for a week while in Denver. We were aware there would be…read morefees. When we arrived, we were told that there was a new law REQUIRING AWD in the mountains and the fine for not having it was steep. So, he "upgraded" us to an AWD for this reason. Then, he told us the toll road fees would be, to start, at least $50 and then each camera at least $3 plus fees "and there are cameras really close together". So, the charge for using toll roads would be super expensive and told us we'd be better off with the toll package. Then, he advised us that our vehicle insurance would not protect us in any accident or damage because we'd be charged the rental fee per day until the car was fixed and that could take months. So, add that to the cost. When all was said and done with all these "requirements" to protect us because everything was worst case, we went from $400 to $1400. Come to find out, the tolls are not that high, they do not require AWD unless there is a lot of snow and an alert goes out before they require AWD or chains. So, it's not like they require it all the time or just instantly. The "full size "SUV" was a Dodge Durango which was not the size of the Ford Expedition it said originally. The girl next to us refused all of it and suddenly her rate skyrocketed because she was a "high risk" driver. She asked why, but they couldn't give her a justification. She was just told her rate increased. Stay away. This place is a scam company.
