It's not exactly value of money, and I didn't leave thinking my nails were amazing. In fact I'm very disappointed with the quality. Family owned and operated, this nail salon & spa offers the most affordable pricing on all their services, and I never leave disappointed. Every technician takes their time and they always make sure to confirm you love the color/design and the shape before doing a full set (which I really appreciate). I even went here for my wedding nails in Fall 2021 because I knew they would do an A+ job. Luminous does accept walk-ins, but I usually try to make an appointment ahead of time to make their day easier. I've recently taken a break from manicures, but I was consistently getting SNS manicures here month to month and loved the way they did my almond shape - they always looked perfect. I was referred to Amanda's Nail Salon by a good friend whose nails always look immaculate…read more I have been in search of a good salon since I moved to Atlanta. Although I have found a few, I have to get my nails redone after only two weeks. I called and made an appointment with Amanda. The salon is located in a quaint little shopping strip center off Main Street. The salon has a nice atmosphere, is clean, and has soft music playing in the background. I dislike loud and busy nail salons, so this was right up my alley. I was instantly greeted by Amanda. She was extremely personable and assisted me in choosing the gel color I like. The color selection is huge! Amanda did an outstanding job! She took her time to ensure my nails were filed evenly and were all the same length. Often times I find that nail technicians ignore this detail so I was extremely appreciative of Amanda's attention to detail. I chose a unique gel color that pushed the envelope, so to speak! I typically stick with pink or red, so this was new to me - I liked it! I enjoyed getting to know Amanda while she worked diligently on my nails. I was impressed that she knew a lot about my friend. She spoke very highly of her. I was SO happy with the finished result! I will definitely return again and again and again ... I highly recommend this salon to the "particular" customer who likes a quality product and excellent customer service!

One day while the hubs and I were out running errands, I saw the bright neon "open" sign from afar. I gasped so loud my husband nearly wrecked the car. I can't express how happy I was to see that neon sign lit up! My husband read the cues and pointed the car towards Sun Nails. They couldn't take me in that day. They are only accepting appointments at this time to limit the number of customers inside at a time. I made an appointment for a few days later and dreamed about how nice my nails would look with a fresh mani for the next three days. I showed up a few minutes early for my appointment. There were three other customers who were already being taken of. Safety precautions were in place. I was asked to sanitize my hands right away. The techs wore masks and sat customers apart from each other. David worked on my hands and moved back and forth between me and another lady. I later found out that they had x amount of nail techs scheduled for that day, however, only two of them showed up. This caused a delay, but I was fine with waiting. I had already waited 6 weeks, what's another 30 minutes or so? I was just happy to be seen. I spent three glorious hours in this salon. Maya worked on my toes and she was fantastic! She was very thorough and applied just enough pressure. When it comes to pedicures, I don't want gentle. David did a fabulous job as well. I left feeling like a brand new woman!
