I was desperate to get a shot of Dysport to fix my "elevens"…read more I walked in and was seated immediately. The procedure was fast and the whole staff was awesome. Fair pricing. It's a nice space.

New nose, new problems. My post is not showing up on google…read morereviews so i am just copying and pasting here. I will start off with the good, because it is shorter. Friendly staff, even when i was upset, they can remain professional. The slope of the nose is nice. Its smaller then it was before at the tip. Now I was hoping i did not have to write this, and keep my original review but its been a year, I'm not satisfied, and he said he will not do a revision. Here in these photos i include the first photo of my nose, and the one beside it was what he said he was going to do, in that same photo is my nose a few weeks ago when i was bringing up something isn't right. It has been a year of recovery, and trusting the process. Next two photos I have included are from today so i can show why I am upset that he said he would not do a revision. I was expecting a cute button nose, and it is not that. Its straight on the one side, and bulging on the other, the under part is also on a diagonal slant, (looking like the point of my nose is also slanting) but the part that bothers me most is the tip is not a cute button nose, like was promised. And i get things not being exactly symmetrical but the two sides look completely different. I payed 11,000 and its not like i went to some sketchy place payed half price and was like well, you get what you get. I went to Visage, "Canadas lead facial plastic surgeon" and payed the going rate for rhinoplasty. I have reason to be upset. Anyway now i guess i have to look else where to get my nose fixed because Dr. Esmail thinks it looks fine. Remember he will only do complimentary revisions if "he" sees fit, dont think of that as a selling point of going there because he is not going to do it.

Please read this entire review. It is a long one, but will prove to be extremely helpful for anyone…read morewho may be considering Dr. Giuffre as their surgeon. I just had a surgical procedure done yesterday and am already recovering extremely well. If any women are considering her for cosmetic surgery, feel free to email me about which procedure I got and I will give you more details about the whole process/answer any questions you may have:). Dr. Giuffre is absolutely amazing. I had rhinoplasty done about a year ago and had consults with numerous surgeons and I found that a LOT of surgeons lacked bedside manner and just basic respect and kindness. I can tell you right now that Dr. Giuffre is the kind of person you want operating on you. She's caring, very sweet, knowledgeable, and an expert in her field. She will make you feel comfortable and that is sooo important when choosing a surgeon. The nurses in the operating room were amazing too. I want to point out a couple of things because I have done so much research on surgeons/surgeries over the last few years. 1. I did see that Dr. G had a few negative reviews and that initially worried me, as it should've. Please understand that before you make any decisions on a surgeon you NEED to consult/meet them first (unless they have an alarming amount of terrible reviews). For example, I saw a couple reviews that stated she "botched" a couple people's hands. For all we know, these people could be total trolls just trying to ruin her reputation, however, if this is not the case, please consider this: because I've seen her professionalism firsthand, I can guarantee you that she told these people that she'd be able to save their fingers/reconstruct their hand(s), but they may lose some or all of the sensation in some areas. These people with the negative reviews were likely told that this was a possibility, decided to go through with the procedure, and then complained about it when it happened to them. Crap happens! That is why surgeons tell you the truth from the beginning. They aren't magicians. I just wanted to say that it is absolutely necessary to meet surgeons yourself before forming your final decision. 2. Surgery is about improvement, not perfection!! 3. I got my surgery done at Maples Surgical Centre in Winnipeg. Maples also has some bad reviews in general, which again, worried me. First off, it's about who is operating on you that matters, not about who sets up your consult, takes your payment, or whatever else. Although it is desired to be treated pleasantly by all staff members of a facility, sometimes people are having a busy/bad day and aren't as kind to you as you thought they should be, but don't judge the surgeon for that! For the record, the front desk staff were so nice and funny! Also, Karen, the patient coordinator was super sweet and accommodating. 4. Lastly, I know there are reviews that state that Dr. G is not punctual. I was about 20-30 minutes late on getting in for my procedure, but instead of complaining about it, I thought about it differently. When surgeons are late that means they are not RUSHING the patients prior to you. My procedure took a little longer than expected but she still took her time and because of that I am recovering well and have no doubt that I will love the final results. Having a surgeon be a little late is still better than them rushing your surgery just to try to stay on time. Surgery is a big deal and Dr. G treats it as such. Anyways, that's my spiel. I haven't made very many online reviews in general, but I felt Dr. G deserved this one. Thank-you Dr. Giuffre and the entire team (from admin to the nurses) at Maples Surgical Centre for the best experience. I will continue to recommend you! :)

The facility is aesthetically pleasing and the front desk staff are pleasant. With that being said,…read moreI was very disappointed with the consultation and service I received. I met with a surgeon regarding rhinoplasty, and once I was ready to book, his secretary gave me the run-around. I was to be given a surgery date the following day. The following day came and I heard nothing. I let it go for nearly a week when I called back and left a message. I was not called back. I called back at the one-week mark, where the secretary had admitted she had "forgotten" all about me and "misplaced" my file. HUGE RED FLAG. She promised she would provide me with a surgical date the next morning. The following morning, no surprise, I heard nothing again. Unfortunately, my faith in Maples Surgical Center has been completely destroyed and I will never use this facility. Thankfully, one door closes and another opens. I am scheduled for this procedure with the best surgeon in the city, whose experience and expertise matches what I am looking for.
