I have been to a total of 4 TCM doctors in three different cities and Dr. mah is by far the best! Winnipeg is lucky to have her! Many TCM doctors(the ones I have seen) believe non Asians cannot handle many needles and then they do not properly treat the aliment aggressively. Not with Nan! She follows what is the normal procedure in the hospitals in China with everyone! Also she has special training for children. She successfully treated my severe anxiety and depression when I was 13 years old and could not take medications due to bad reactions to Prozac and fluoxetine. New patients depending on the illness most likely will have to go twice a week for 2-4 weeks. Then she tapers it to once a week, then every two weeks and a few months later it is just once a month to keep your qi flow and yin and yang in check! Her prices are also so reasonable and make up for the fact she only takes cash.

I was very unhappy (to say the least) that Marcoux kept taking my money for over a year without suggesting we try something else. Either he knew my problem could be fixed with another technique and was really just interested in the revenue, or he didn't know, which puts his medical qualifications into serious question. He even tried to talk me out of seeing someone else when I raised the fact that I was not getting better and wanted to try physio or massage! Oh, and definitely beware his attempt to sell you very expensive orthodics. He does it to everyone who comes into his office...
