Lots of cool flavor options and just some unique items you wouldn't see at most coffee shops. Servings for food are huge. The scone I ordered was like the size of two else where. First time to any of the locations, but have heard many great things about them and their non coffee drinks. Protein Golden Eagle - had to go with one of the favorites here but felt like I should get some protein in. Coffee was decent but definitely overwhelmingly sweet. Not overly different from a coffee with strong creamer, but a delicious on the road break which is always welcome. I imagine this is a good starter drink when uncertain but would branch out into other specialties.

We tried the artichoke dip with crab, which was really good, along with the cheese curds. Our meals were generous portions, and I ordered the salmon cakes--they were flavorful and something I would definitely order again. We finished with the bourbon bread pudding. The dessert portion was on the smaller side and it was definitely sweet, but still very tasty! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a casual distillery feel that made it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy lunch. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch--the food was good, portions were generous, and the service made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

Talking Cedar is a solid alternative to the dining at great Wolf Lodge…read more It's just around the corner with ample parking. We got there around 6:30 PM on Thursday evening and the wait was about 20 minutes for families, but we sat at the bar at a high top and got right in. We found service to be friendly and prompt. The gentleman who was taking care of us was attentive without being pushy. We started with the fried pickles which came out with ranch and aïoli for dipping. It was a huge portion. Tasty indeed. While I know pickles are inherently salty, I did find these to be exceptionally salty, leaving me to wonder if the batter was also salted, which definitely would not be necessary. Just know that if you are planning on ordering them. We also both got the Smoked Steak Salad. The salad was fresh and nicely dressed. Both of them came with a very generous serving of meat. The meat was just OK. They do not ask you how you would like your steak cooked, so once I got it, that made sense. I'm guessing they don't just smoke it for a little bit and finish the cooking it another way because it is well done with some rough bits - perhaps leftovers from something else. Honestly, I would prefer to have a nice juicy steak on top of a salad, and while I enjoyed this enough, I probably would not get it again for this reason. We both got a beer flight too, and found all four choices to be really good! I will definitely come back here when I'm tired of options at Great Wolf. I'd be interested in trying their sandwiches, as I saw a couple people with French Dips that looked really good.

My boyfriend told me that anytime he passes by that the parking lot is always filled, and even when we were coming in, the parking lot was full and there were definitely some interesting parking choices made by others. We were able to get parking and as we entered we were greeted warmly by staff. Luckily, there was a small table for us so we were seated right away with menus. The staff here are on point with checking in at the perfect times and they always do a sweep for coffee and water refills, to see if anyone needs anything or anything else. They are also so friendly and seem to know their regulars well too. The bathroom is well-maintained and even has a changing station. I got the strawberry lemonade and the biscuits and gravy combo that comes with eggs, hash browns, and ham while my boyfriend got the chicken club sandwich. The drink arrived immediately and not even after a few minutes did our food arrive. The pictures and reviews did not lie, the portions were huge and the food tasted great especially for the price. You do pay at the front once they drop off the tab. I do also appreciate that they sell some local goods from honey, sauces, jewelry and other neat things. This place deserves the glowing reviews and more.
