When you arrive, you place your starting drink and food orders. We arrived early enough to choose any seating. Tables are well distanced apart. Masks are required to enter. We chose their covered seating area..it included a nice tv and a couple of cooling units..huge plus! This is the only place I have been to so far that offers Voodoo beer by Tin Roof so I was in love already. They have a refreshing menu..not all typical bar food. So I saw they had Tuna Tartar..first thought was..sh*t should I order raw fish at a bar??!! The waitress highly recommended it so wht the hell..it was fantastic!! We also tried the shrimp remolaude which was tasty as well. This is such a nice space that I am very much looking forward to returning.

A small bar, and a back performance room with a space for the performer. The back room fits perhaps 12-15 people. I've used the descriptors of little, small, cozy, and let's throw in the word intimate. The bartender is also the emcee, and made introductions and gave some info. Mia Borders was super. Her songs are powerful, and great life stories. There is just enough amplification to highlight vocals, and seems perfect for the room. Not a great selection of liquors, but it's "enough". They also have specialty drinks, although they were out of a couple of items when I was there. I REALLY enjoyed Mia's show, and this little "Sidebar" is pretty cool.

The food was great and the lamb chops was the best part of the meal, I highly recommend food full of flavor. Drinks were amazing and I wish I remembered the server name she was perfect, very attentive and gave us great recommendations aka the lamb chops.

We had reservations on a Saturday night and were seated almost immediately. As we passed the bar I noticed they had a huge bourbon selection which is always cool. I ordered a "Well She Starts Monday" which is a cocktail made with Buffalo Trace, Cynar liqueur, and Fig Syrup. I was not a fan of this one, so I ordered an Old Fashioned for my second drink, and it was a little better. I got a Burrata for an appetizer which seemed like a caprese salad served with crispy bread triangles. This was really good. For an entree, I got Beef Wellington which until then I had never had. Mansplained, this is a steak cooked medium rare inside of a puff pastry with 2 different sauces on it. Phenomenally good! The atmosphere is really dark with low lighting, dark cherry wood everywhere. The music was bad and loud. If it was one or the other it would have been fine, but this was like if someone gave Yoko Ono glowsticks and said start and EDM band. The Husky is meant for a younger crowd. The food was 5 stars; the atmosphere and experience were probably more like 3 stars.

After traveling all day, we decided to sit outside on the patio. We had a fantastic waiter who took great care of us. They have an experienced bartender and a great signature cocktail list. Highly recommend any of the martinis. The charcuterie board was delicious as were all of our entrees. Highly recommend the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp! Bread pudding was divine. ***Brown butter rosemary fries - pass on these unless good plain fries are what you're looking for. I didn't taste a hint of brown butter or rosemary on the fries and their "maison sauce" was just ketchup.

The ambiance of this place was the best part of the experience - the Vessel is located in an old church building. I loved the vibes and it felt both classy and casual at the same time. We didn't have reservations on a Saturday night, but we were able to be seated as soon as we came in! We started with the hand cut fries and I found them to be delicious and fresh. Afterwards, I had the seafood pasta and it was great - appropriate balance of the pasta and seafood. We ended with the creme brule and it was perfect - it had the right amount of crunchiness at the top and was soft as soon as you broke into it. Overall, I had a great experience here and hope to try this place out for brunch in the future!
