From start to finish, the visit went very well. Scheduling was easy, filling out the new patient "paperwork" was online and easy, and once I arrived for my appointment, everything else went smoothly! I believe Dr. Jaouni provided a conservative treatment plan recommendation, which I very much appreciated. I mean, after all, who wants to have a tooth pulled, unless absolutely necessary?! My wife has been treated by Dr. Jaouni on a couple of occasions. She was pleased with the result and approved of my seeing him for my "emergency" issue. After being seen by Dr. Jaouni, I too recommend this endodontist. I hope you don't need to visit the Endodontist, but if you do and you decide to give this practice/Dr. Jaouni an opportunity to treat you, I hope you have a likewise very positive experience! The front desk staff greeted me warmly and professionally, immediately setting a positive tone. I was then brought back for my initial diagnosis by the dental assistant, Denise. She was incredibly thorough, friendly, and took the time to explain what she was doing throughout the process. One thing that really impressed me was how advanced the technology was. The imaging and diagnostic tools they used were clearly state-of-the-art, which made the evaluation process feel very precise and reassuring. At many medical offices, you can feel like just another number, rushed in, rushed out, and treated more like part of an assembly line than a patient. That was absolutely not the case here. Every member of the team was personable and genuinely focused on patient care. I never once felt hurried. Instead, the staff took the time to make sure I understood everything and felt comfortable along the way. After the initial x-rays and testing revealed the issue, Dr. Berto came chairside. His chairside manner was exceptional. He carefully walked me through the images, explained exactly what the tests revealed, and discussed the procedure in a way that was both clear and reassuring. Again, it didn't feel like I was just another patient moving through the system, he took the time to make sure I fully understood what was happening and what to expect. The procedure itself was completed in less than an hour, Dr. Berto kept checking in with me to ensure I was ok, and the entire team continued to be attentive, caring, and professional throughout. Afterward, the post-procedure instructions were explained clearly, and both Denise and Dr. Berto made sure I felt comfortable before leaving. I'll also add something that really surprised me: a day later I have zero pain from the procedure, and more importantly the original tooth pain that brought me in is completely gone. That may just be my personal experience, but it's definitely worth noting. Overall, the combination of high-end technology, exceptional professionalism, and genuinely personable staff made this one of the best dental experiences I've had. I would highly recommend North Texas Endodontics to anyone needing endodontic care.

My issue comes in with the business office and their less then stellar practices. We've always paid our estimates at time of service and any additional balances in instances where the estimates may have been slightly off. They continue to state that we have a "family" balance that has to be paid before they will schedule follow up visits. This balance has been reviewed with the business office against the EOB from my insurance in which the EOB does not reflect any patient responsibility. They are trying to balance bill for amounts they should contractually be writing off. This alone has put a bitter take in my mouth and forced me to start looking elsewhere for treatment.

Upon arriving around 1:00 PM, I repeatedly informed the front office staff of my intense discomfort, but no assistance was provided. Once brought back to a room, I was left waiting for over an hour before Dr. Osada administered a local anesthetic to ease the pain. However, as the waiting extended for hours, the anesthetic wore off, and the pain returned. My repeated calls for help were ignored, and I ultimately did not receive complete treatment until 4:00 to 5:00 PM. During the procedure, the environment was highly unprofessional. Dr. Osada and his assistant carried on personal conversations about internal office drama, firing fears, and leaving early--completely ignoring my presence and comfort. While I appreciate that Dr. Osada successfully removed three fragments of the broken file, the neglect of my severe pain, the hours of delay, and the inappropriate behavior during care made this one of the worst healthcare experiences I have ever had.
