DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! We moved in July 2024 after having our move in date pushed due to a discovery of a water leak from the 3rd floor apartment. Within 1 week of moving in the cracks started showing up. They can to patch them but a few weeks later they all came back. We complained as this complex claims to be a luxury apartment community in Lakeside but the conditions are far from it. They changed the front door locks to be a keypad and our front door would never safely lock. The shower walls are not attached to the bathroom wall so cockroaches would come up through. Management is lazy and does absolutely nothing to fix structural issues in the buildings. We went to management with our photos in February of 2025 stating that we wanted out of our lease. We were given verbal and written permission so in July we gave notice and turned in our keys July 18th. Management lied and told corporate that we left in the middle night with no notice and now they are trying to charge us $3500! Trust me when I say this complex is the worst! Save yourself the headache and expense and do not move here!!!

My experience here was awful. This was hand down the worst living arrangement I've had in 10+ years of living in DFW. Staff is unprofessional - they sit there scrolling on their phones all day and just ignore the emails. You have to go during work hours into their leasing office (so get off work early) to get anything resolved. Additionally, they do not keep track of paperwork and charged me for additional months of rent and other fees that should've been waived per contract. Almost sent collectors on me when it was 100% their fault. No apology. Nothing. The apartments and townhomes are dreadful inside. Really run down. Utility bill for a small 1 bed was almost $200 this past summer (2024) and 1 bed townhome utilities get into $400-500 range. This is extremely high. Units are very inefficient & a lot of air is leaking. Additionally, they have some sort of sewage problem - both units I rented reeked of sewage from the shower drain. It was sick. There was also black mold in the shower. Lots of bugs in the garage, I had to put stickers to trap them. Do not move here, this management will let you down.

Absolutely terrible experience living here. We were given limited choices by our relocation company…read moreregarding apartment buildings to choose from and unfortunately this was a bad decision. The two saving graces were that 1) we only had to be here 3 months while our house was finishing construction and 2) the maintenance team was very responsive. Hence the 1 star. 1. This building must be 100 years old. It is so outdated and it shows. 2. Maintenance. Upon moving in (literally the moment we walked in) the master bathroom had a leak. We had to call maintenance, who came that evening and fixed it but not before stepping in our bathtub with his dirty shoes and leaving the mess behind. Every other week our sink or bathtub was clogged. Within one week, we had light bulbs go out. Not to mention the beds that detached from the headboards. Let's not even talk about the safety hazard this poses with two young kids. 3. Pests. We found a freaking LIZARD one day. We had so many flies that it felt like they were manifesting out of nowhere. Then we had spiders. And keep in mind, we are CLEAN people. Like very clean, so this wasn't due to our living style. Upon moving in the first thing we noticed were two nests of some type right outside our apartment door. One appeared to be a termites nest. So these pests were all living outside our apartment and probably scurried in any opportunity they got. 4. Kitchen Utensils. There is absolutely no way the utensils were from anywhere but the dollar store. I'm not exactly expecting KitchenAid utensils but I'm paying $146/day, which comes out to almost $5K PER MONTH. So yes I do expect something better than the dollar store. See picture of pizza cutter that broke the first time we used it. 5. Cleanliness. The apartment appeared fairly clean when we moved in. When we moved a bed there was even a little sign under the bed that said "yes we clean under here too!" And then in the family room we lifted up the rug and it was a dust fest under there. See pictures. So gross. 6. Neighbors. This is the kind of place where people literally have nothing better to do than complain because your trash can wasn't inside your apartment before 9 am. So there's that. I would never live here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

The bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and dining area were all flooded with dirty, foul-smelling water. Maintenance came initially and flushed water out through the patio, then left a dehumidifier and instructed me to run it for three days, which I did. On the fourth day, I had to fly out. I turned off the dehumidifier because I was not comfortable leaving an electrical device running unattended while I was out of town. I clearly told the management and maintenance team that they did NOT have permission to enter my apartment without me present, and that I would be back the very next day and they could return then. Despite this, maintenance entered my apartment anyway after explicitly being told not to. I was later told that turning off the dehumidifier was a lease violation, which felt unreasonable given the circumstances and the fact that I followed instructions for three full days. To make matters worse, after the flooding they had to replace baseboards and drywall, creating another mess. I repeatedly requested that the floors be properly cleaned and sanitized, since the unit was flooded with contaminated water, but this was not handled with urgency or care. I understand this happened during a winter storm with extremely low temperatures around 20°F. I had taken precautions by dripping faucets, and the pipe that burst was supplying the sprinkler system, not something within my control. Still, the lack of respect for my boundaries, poor communication, and dismissive handling of sanitation concerns made this experience incredibly stressful. Overall, the situation was mishandled, invasive, and frustrating. Emergencies happen, but tenant communication, consent, and basic cleanliness should not be optional.

I had numerous issues with my dryer & they were patient and constantly willing to figure out the issue, regardless of numerous maintenance orders. There are not enough nice things I can say about them, and they are a huge part of my sadness to leave Elora. I wish I could live here again, but the prices are insanely high, which I somewhat understand for the location & current economy. Still a wonderful complex with a lot to offer. Also, special shoutout to Charlie in the leasing office. Charlie has always been extremely helpful, patient, and professional to me, and has never made me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome any time I've called or stepped into the office. I'm sharing it simply because if something unusual like this does happen, it helps to stay very on top of communication. I followed up to get answers, but my biggest concern is that someone older or someone without the time to constantly check in might have a much harder time navigating a situation like this. We lived at Limestone Ranch for about a year and a half, and overall our experience was mixed. The apartments look very nice when you move in. The renovations make them feel modern, which is one of the reasons we chose it. At the same time, the buildings are older underneath those renovations, and that led to some strange maintenance issues. For example, our kitchen sink repeatedly came apart. Our dishwasher also came out of its socket repeatedly. Maintenance was always kind and tried to fix it, but the problems kept returning. One thing that surprised us was the electricity cost. Our one bedroom rent was close to $1,700 a month, yet our electric bill sometimes exceeded $400. Even after we moved out and the apartment sat vacant for two months (which we still paid for according to the lease), the electric bill was still over $200. I'm not sure if this was the provider or the building itself, but being on the third floor likely didn't help. The amenities were decent but sometimes inconsistent. The pool is nice, but there were times we went to swim and I ended up skimming debris out myself. It was also closed for about a month last May because an inspection hadn't been completed in time. The grills by the pool rarely worked. The gym is extremely small, and if two people used the treadmills at the same time it often tripped the breaker and shut both machines off mid-workout. We also dealt with a lot of palmetto bugs in the outdoor hallways and stairwells during humid weather. I understand this can happen in Texas, but it was shocking at first since we weren't originally from the area. Some nights the stairwells were full of them, and a few did make it inside our apartment. We also had a wasp nest on our patio that made the space unusable for quite a while. After waiting weeks for maintenance, we eventually sprayed it ourselves. Packages also became an issue over time. The Luxer One locker system worked well at first, but later we often received delivery notifications only to find the packages missing. At one point the staff had to reorganize everything themselves, which was appreciated, but it happened months after some packages had already gone missing. One of the best parts of Limestone Ranch is the location. It's very close to Costco, other shopping, and the highway, and there's a canal with a walking path nearby that we enjoyed. Where things became difficult was when we had to break our lease due to relocating for work. To be fair, Limestone Ranch does offer lease break options. We spoke with Evan, the assistant manager, and chose the 60-day notice option. We confirmed everything again before submitting notice and were told February would be prorated to around $400 since the lease would end partway through the month. When February arrived, though, we were charged the full $1,700. To keep the account in good standing we had to come up with an additional $400 while the issue was being sorted out. We were then told we also owed another $1,000 because the lease break fee had not originally been charged correctly months earlier. From there, it turned into nearly a month of trying to get answers. The only time anyone reached out was to collect additional charges. Evan told me he would contact corporate and call me back, but I never heard from him again after we paid the additional fees. Both Evan and Mahogany also directed me to contact corporate myself, but when I did they seemed confused and had very little information about our situation. During this time it was also extremely difficult to reach Ebony, the property manager. Calls often went unanswered and I was not put through when I asked to speak with her. After weeks in the dark about our charges, refund, and even our security deposit, I was honestly considering contacting an attorney just to get basic clarification. Even the refund required follow-up from us. I noticed in the documentation it was listed as a check, and I had to ask whether they had the correct forwarding address because it had never been confirmed. I do want to be clear that this review is not meant to reflect negatively on Ebony. Once she became aware of what was happening, she stepped in and worked to correct the billing issue and make sure our refund was issued. She was extremely apologetic and clearly cared about making things right, which I appreciated.
