I made a same day appointment for a scalp treatment and blow dry after having a ton of products in my hair. The lady that did my hair had only been working there for a few weeks and was unfamiliar with the services but was a great stylist. She was gentle with my natural hair and walked me through the steps she was taking. The salon wasn't busy at all and it was easy to feel relaxed. I definitely recommend for a last minute press.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DON'T GO!…read more I came into the barbershop and went to the 2nd barber on the right to confirm. I spent 45 minutes waiting for my barber to finish cutting two other people before he tells me he needs to go on break and eat because he is very hungry. I ask how long will it take, and he says 30 minutes! I said no and left the barbershop completely. It would have been professional and at least courteous to give me the option of whether to expend 2hrs of my time on a haircut, IN ADVANCE. Who eats for 30minutes? What barber doesn't warn their clients that they will need to go on break shortly before agreeing to cut their hair?Who takes a break in the middle of busy Friday night shift with clients in line? So no, I will not wait another 30 minutes for you to eat on MY time. My brother said he also had a similar experience with another barber in the same shop. If you value your time, please don't waste it here.

I am writing to respectfully address an experience concerning your cancellation policy, following a…read morerecent appointment booking. I wish to preface this by affirming that the service provided by my hairstylist has consistently been exemplary and professional. My concern pertains to a cancellation fee recently applied to my account. An appointment had been scheduled for Friday at noon. On the preceding Thursday, shortly after 11:00 AM, I contacted your establishment to notify you of the need to cancel this appointment. During this call, a staff member informed me that a $25 fee would be charged due to the cancellation falling outside the stipulated 48-hour notice period. I attempted to explain the unforeseen circumstances that necessitated this last-minute cancellation. However, the representative maintained a strict adherence to the policy, reiterating the rule without further discussion or consideration of my situation. As this was my first occasion requiring a cancellation within a short timeframe, I had hoped for a more empathetic approach. Life's unpredictable nature often leads to unavoidable changes in plans, and I believe that an element of understanding and flexibility, particularly for established clients experiencing a first-time short-notice cancellation, is a hallmark of excellent customer service. I hope you will consider the impact of such rigid policy application in situations where unexpected events are beyond a client's control.
