They both helped me reach the look I was going for and didn't make me feel as I was just another $ sign or rushed but they made me feel like I was an a regular, focused on our goal and always did their best to hear my ideas. Best salon experience in Monroe, or the tri-county area for that matter. I've hopped around from place to place looking for someone who will listen and take the time to help me figure out what I want rather than just seeing how fast they can turnover their seat to the next customer. Jessie, the owner, makes me feel like I'm such a special person when I walk through the door. I feel like we've know each other for years, she's so laid back and easy to talk to. I tell everybody I know that lives out that way to go stop by La Boheme for the best experience in town. I don't know what these other Negative Nancy reviewers are talking about. I guess there's some people you just can't please no matter how far you bend over backwards, which is exactly what all the ladies do at LaBoheme in Monroe. My hair was terribly damaged as a result of coloring at La Boheme.There is a great deal of breakage and what is left of my hair is dry and brittle. Three days after the process I began calling the salon to discuss what I should do and got their answering machine. No one called me back. I called 3 more times and still had no response. Finally I sent the salon an email requesting a refund. The stylist called me back and said that I should have gotten in touch the first week. I explained (for the second time) how hard I had tried to reach the salon, and she stated that this was the "salon policy." She was sarcastic and inferred that I was not telling the truth about my attempts to reach her. My hair, which was perfectly healthy and looked fine before, is unevenly colored, fuzzy, and broken. I gave the salon every opportunity to do the right thing, but, instead of trying to help, they were unresponsive, rude, and refused to take responsibility. Responding to comment: I was unaware of the breakage when I came in to buy products and when my husband got his hair cut. I did not feel it appropriate to call the stylist's personal phone number. I thought I should go through the salon and left messages, as I said I did. You can still rectify the situation if you care about the damage. read more

I recently visited Savannah for a haircut, and unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. I strongly advise against entrusting your hair to her. She did not do a good job at all. My hair was shredded, and the damage is so severe that when I part it, I can see strands that have been cut unevenly by as much as one centimeter.
