After many years of looking at our "out dated" kitchen, we decided it was time to upgrade. The upgrade included refinishing the cabinets, install a new countertop and install a backsplash. We chose Avalon Flooring (located in Brick, New Jersey) to install the backsplash. During our initial visit to the store, our sales representative, Barbara Lorenzo was extremely helpful in assisting us with the many questions we had about the different types of tiles that could be used for our new backsplash. There were so many to choose from. We had many questions and all were answered. The staff Avalon Flooring did an exceptional job throughout the entire process (showing us many tiles that we could use with the countertop color we chose, contract details, measurement and installation). The tiles that we chose look beautiful. We look forward to enjoying and looking at our new backsplash for many years to come. I worked with Diane Costa at the Brick, NJ location and she was wonderful!  The process of building a new home was so fun but so stressful! She helped keep me calm and was so knowledgeable about all my choices.  She assisted with 3 bathrooms, kitchen backsplash and basement flooring.  I also brought paint samples in and she guided me through complimentary paint colors for my tile choices. After many times meeting, we finally came to a decision. We did a total makeover on our house in Toms River. We needed a new vinyl floor, tiling for the kitchen, and tile for the master bathroom and guest bedroom. After making the rounds with all the box store mega retailers we settled on Avalon Flooring in Brick on Route 70. The reason we did is because our contractor Deep Blue Designs recommended them, we got the total professional experience from our saleswoman Lindsey. Lindsay was fantastic she was so helpful and was very patience and listen to our requests and everything worked out beautifully. The quality of the product is great, the whole shipping experience went seamlessly and received everything right on schedule. At that time, we weren't going to do window treatments, but we did at Avalon. They were installed a few days ago and they are beautiful, and again Lindsay helped us on that selection as well. I ordered a replacement w-w carpet and padding for my living room and hall. The service I received in store (Lindsey) and at home (Vicki) was just the right mix of very professional yet friendly. The items ordered, measurements, installation, and old carpet/pad removal was nothing short of perfect. The installation was done while I was sick in bed and the lead and his team were efficient, quiet and cleaned up thoroughly in no time. I am a sales/service manager for corp./gov't. teams for 45 years and it truly makes me happy when I deal with an organization that trains their employees well. This spring I ordered a carpet from the Avalon store in Brick, NJ. I was able to take advantage of a sale, but the store would have to delay installation until the room had been repainted. No problem! The store held the carpet until we were ready and installed the carpet quickly in time for our home nuptials. We were disappointed with some of the installation and twice had the installer return for adjustments. All was to our complete satisfaction! The carpeting was perfect in time for our wedding! The room was a showpiece. Avalon stands behind their warrantee and will follow-up to correct any problems. All communication was pleasant and reassuring. I will use them again. read more

This review isn't about Avalon flooring it is about an employee at this store. I have been waiting for my wife to pick a tile for months. We walked into the store and she found one. Barbara helped her complete the order and we were all set. Now when the tile came in there was a problem. Now I thought great a mountain of problems are about to ensue. However when my wife called Barbara, it was as if she waved her hand and took that mountain and made it a molehill and then crushed it. Barbara is amazing. I had no idea where to start with my project and had no patience to look through the multitude of samples. Aspasia Kotsianas was wonderful! she listened then recommended and had the patience to mix and match until I was happy. she also followed up on email and then another email to alert me to a sale!! Just got tile for 2 bathrooms and happy with the selection and price. I had shopped around, other places too confusing or not as helpful. On Wednesday 1/4/23, I had flooring installed. From start to finish it was an excellent job. I first delt with Katha, she was prompt in retuning my emails and answered all my questions. I was on a strick budget and Katha worked with me to get the flooring I loved. They communicated with me about scheduling and made it very easy.
