When the whole gang showed up at the appointed place and time- 3rd street- we were met by a really nice high school kid who held us for 20 minutes while he tried to contact the lead photographer and find out where she was and when she would arrive. With 9 smallish, impatient kids and a larger, impatient father-in-law, we tried to help this kid buy more time, but eventually he gave up and proceeded to take the pictures himself. I certainly have nothing against high school students apprenticing, learning, helping out...but this wasn't our expectation. Through it all, he was professional, kind, accommodating, and genuinely tried...while some photos were great, other pictures came out with shadows on faces, sun at the wrong angle, and other issues that should not be present on a professional photo shoot. Certainly not his fault...he did his best under the circumstances. The post photo-shoot didn't go so well. My sister-in-law had to make repeated calls to keep the process moving, and it wasn't until November that we finally were sent the photos on a flash drive. I really don't like leaving negative responses on yelp, but we didn't have a great experience. I'm just one client- and I hope others yelp with more positive experiences- but a $450 photo shoot is a lot more disappointing than a poor $2.50 Frappuccino!

We were on vacation and decided to get pictures taken the last couple of days we were there. The…read morefirst attempt it started pouring rain on the way there and obviously couldn't have pictures taken, so we rescheduled for the next morning. As we were leaving on the second attempt, it started drizzling, but decided to try anyway. It was windy and chilly, but the photographer did not act like it was a problem, and we quickly tried to get our pictures in as it obviously was going to start storming soon. Her husband was with her, but made no attempt to help pose us or our 5 children. She said sessions usually last 45 minutes, but b/c of the weather it got cut short to 15 minutes. She told us that she would email the picture in 2-3 weeks and we paid her the $100 for the sitting fee. After 4 weeks, I had not received any pictures even regularly checking my spam folder, so I called her, left her a message with our phone number, and asked her to call me back when she was able. Another week went by and still no pictures and no call back. I called her again, telling her that I still had not heard from her or received the pictures, left my number again, and asked her to call me back. Still nothing, so the next day I emailed her and asked her to refund my money and we would just go get our pictures somewhere else. She emailed me back claiming that she had sent the pictures weeks ago and had texted me the week before even though I mysteriously never hear from her. At that point she did send a link to the pictures which were all bad. I am confused why she never called me back on the phone number I provided for her and asked her to call me on twice. I obviously was not receiving her supposed forms of communication. She also wrote, "I think I was more then fair with you. I changed the session multiple times as per your request. I stood in the pouring rain risking my equipment for your session." I am not sure what those things had to do with the issue of not receiving my pictures in the amount of time she promised, but I emailed her back and told her that I would take partial responsibility for not canceling the session b/c it was starting to rain (it was not pouring rain), but that she could have canceled just as easily since she obviously was so concerned about it. I asked for a partial refund not even suggesting what amount she should refund me which I thought was a fair request. I never heard back from her again. That was weeks ago.

Their loss. But I am annoyed. They could have had me spend another $40 easily. Strangely, ot was the owner & photographer ( who I believe was also an owner ) that turned me off.

Doyle was fantastic to work with for our wedding and I highly recommend him for wedding…read morephotography. Upon meeting Doyle he made us feel comfortable with the process and offered great recommendations regarding unique and breathtaking locations. Doyle listened to our interests and concerns before building out a plan for the wedding day which included location recommendations for pictures before, during, and after the wedding. After our initial discussion Doyle sent us google map links to a number of locations for us to check out based on our discussion and interests. He nailed all of them. Doyle was prompt and unobtrusive on the day of the wedding. I would say the best compliment I can give Doyle is that his "journalistic" style allowed us to get fantastic candid shots from the wedding throughout the day. Doyle was courteous and conscious of the surroundings and made all of the guest feel comfortable with his presence and was able to capture the personality of the guests through photographs. Doyle delivered our pictures within his proposed timeframe and his pricing structure was extremely reasonable given the quality of work and professionalism. We were extremely satisfied with Doyle's work and would definitely give him our highest compliments for wedding photography. If we ever need professional photography services in the future Doyle will be our first call.

We were down OC this past summer for a 50th wedding anniversary for my parents. We were so…read morestressed since we were doing this from out of state and w/ elderly on a beach. ...Bill was great. He worked w/us and gave us great tips that made it very easy and a lot of fun. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Having this lasting moment captured to easily was really great. After our purchases we shipped directly to our homes in cute like boxes tied up like little presents. We were completely satisfied w/ our experience and would recommend Bill/wrs to others! I entered with my wife and daughter and spent at least an hour in this shop purchasing several…read morepieces on the aluminum they offer. They were to be shipped to us and when they did not arrive for many weeks we reached out to ask why, very difficult to get a hold of and communication was horrible. When these prints finally arrived the packaging was so poor it looked like a child did it and of course the corners of all the artwork were dented in. These prints are very easily damaged. One was replaced others were not and communication was horrible, we are left with damaged and dented prints and they would not stand behind poor packaging. Could not even track or communicate on tracking of package with us or the shipper! Simply put stay out of this place don't waste you time or money, 1 star is to good a review.
