We had our brakes replaced here in April, and after only about 8,000 miles, the bolts on the brake calipers came loose and eventually fell out -- causing serious damage to the entire front side of our vehicle. Rather than taking ownership or even acknowledging the possibility of error, the shop refused to accept any responsibility. We trusted them to do quality work, but not only were the bolts not properly tightened, their response afterward showed a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. We're now left paying a large repair bill at another shop to correct a rookie mistake that should never have happened. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service all around.

Honest, Comfortable, and Truly Exceptional…read more We recently traded in our truck and purchased a used Mini Countryman at Schomp Mini, and the entire experience--from the first test drive to the final paperwork--was stellar. Working with Jessica, our Client Advisor, was a true pleasure. She was knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and never pushy--just genuinely helpful and clear at every step. She made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and enjoyable. When I had detailed questions about the car, she didn't guess--she walked me straight to the service advisor who answered everything with clarity. That kind of professionalism and teamwork gave me confidence we'd be in good hands long after the sale. The test drive was simple and seamless, and when it came time to handle paperwork, it was almost shockingly easy: Jessica just snapped a photo of our licenses and that was it. Everything was done digitally and transparently. Yes, the whole process took a few hours (we arrived at 10:15am and left at 2:30pm), but the time was spent in a relaxed, welcoming environment with coffee, snacks, and truly comfortable seating areas--including a discreet work nook where I took a client call. The dealership feels more like a boutique hotel than a typical car dealer. Jin, the Store Manager, was also fantastic--professional, warm, and straightforward. When our Mini needed a minor service before delivery, Jin proactively arranged a loaner car, and they actually finished the work earlier than promised. We were thrilled to get the call that our new car was ready ahead of schedule. As for the pricing model: it's clear, fair, and commission-free. I didn't feel like I had to haggle or "watch my back"--and that's a big deal. The trade-in offer for our truck was more than fair, and we left feeling like we got great value on both ends of the deal. And this next part feels important to share: As a 53-year-old woman, I handled the entire trade and purchase process on my own. I say this not as a statement about me, but as a compliment to Schomp Mini and especially Jessica. I felt safe, respected, and never once patronized or pressured. For other women who might feel uncertain or overwhelmed by the idea of buying a car--this is a place where you can feel confident and empowered. And the car itself? We love it. The Mini Countryman is the perfect mix of sporty and sturdy--great for mountain driving, surprisingly spacious inside, and incredibly comfortable. It feels high-end and responsive on the road, with all the personality you'd expect from a Mini. Bottom line: If you're looking for a dealership where the people are honest, the process is smooth, and the environment is actually pleasant--go to Schomp Mini. Ask for Jessica. We'll be back when it's time for our next car.

While no car repairs are ever cheap, I found their prices to be fair, and did not try to "diagnose" and "repair" and frivolous services, like many auto repairs are known for. In fact, they cautioned me on things I knew needed replacement like my brakes, that were separate from my check engine light problem, and took care of noticing and replacing my rear windshield wiper free of charge. I am now having my engine light on again, and under the warranty he is helping again, to take care of it, and was told by phone that they will assist with rental reimbursement as well, since their loaners are limited to 35 miles/day, and my driving needs exceed that. Also Kevin called me an Uber to the rental place! I will update this post once I hear more from the diagnoses of the light coming back on. But still very satisfied with their service, attention to detail, and friendly, and trustworthy service.
