I called desperately last minute for a haircut because I'm an overstimulated mom so I forget daily. I called and spoke with Rachel. she took time out during work to ask around if anyone can accommodate me same day. She called me back and said she could. I went in at the agreed time for a cut. Plenty of parking space with the inside clean and spacious. I have textured hair and she did a great job managing it. Thank god she suggested a quick toner because I walked out so happy and so appreciative of her! Rachel and her coworker are so friendly. Pricing for cut and tone was $110 . She also blow dried and curled my hair , not sure if that was part of the price. But I felt everything was reasonable and worth it. Highly recommend! read more

Eye Brow Threading Review: I spoke with the lady about the problems I've been having over the years with ppl trying to round and thin my brows. Usually takes me a few months to grow out my right brow. Told her I specifically wanted to grow and maintain arches and no thin brows. She said at first they would look uneven which I understood as I knew one was higher than the other and agreed to proceed. After two months of growing them out I finally went back to get them cleaned up but I'm very disappointed and sad to say it was a BIG mistake. Coming in with full grown brows that turned into this. I was hoping to be coming to this place forever. read more

Love everything about this place, most especially my incomparable stylist @madisonreevesbeauty. Madison is the absolute best. My hair is healthier and better styled than its been in years. Couldn't recommend her more. She now styles the hair of my entire family! If you're looking for a new stylist, she is the best. Plus, such a great atmosphere in the entire salon. Upscale but homey. A great local resource in East Long Beach. read more

Mika is amazing!!!!!! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. She has great recommendations and treats your hair like it's her own. She is very talented and so friendly and stylish! I also do my nails with Angela and I would't trust anyone else with them as I am very sensitive and she knows my hands and feet so well. The salon has a great vibe all around with everyone always happy and getting along. I love this place! read more

This review is way overdue! I called into Ava salon on a Sunday morning after attempting to cut my own bangs.. I was not expecting them to be able to squeeze me in the same day to fix my huge mistake but Madison answered the phone and I'm so thankful to this day that she did! She worked her magic and I've been a client ever since! I love the atmosphere in the salon as well. They are all stylists with their own chairs but work together as a team to make sure each client feels welcomed and leaves happy. read more

This is my second time going to the salon and seeing my stylist, Rachel and I couldn't be happier. I have spent many years trying different salons trying to get someone to really listen to what I want for my hair and this is the first time that it's happened she cut my hair in such a nice way that it gave it so much style and volume and today she colored it and it came out great! so great in fact, that when I walked out of the salon, someone actually stopped me and asked who did my hair, so if you're thinking about getting your hair done make an appointment with Rachel. She is amazing.! read more

Lorene, the manicurist is the best! Very attentive to hygiene, & gives a very good manicure.

I got my haircut here and it was awful. It looked cute at the salon then when I washed it at home the first time and flat ironed it, I could see all the mistakes they made! It looks as if someone took scissors to the back of my head and just snipped, no blending in or anything, and it was so short and uneven that it couldn't be fixed!! The girl at the front desk when I went in wasn't very pleasant, but I think she was a stylist. When I left to pay the receptionist was very pleasant. read more

Ask for Gia, she's the best!!! I have very thick, coarse, and treated hair so it's hard for me to find a stylist that can work with that. The first time I met with Gia, she knew exactly what I wanted and what complicated my face. This time around I was looking for a completely different look. Gia cut my hair into a Bob (mind you I have a round face and poofy hair) so that was a risky move. Gia did a great job and I loved the end result. I'm never going elsewhere, even though my drive is somewhat far. read more

I have gone to Mika twice now for highlights and cut and am very happy with the service. She is very talented, especially with cuts and styling. I like the ambiance of the salon and I think they seem to be handing the covid safety well. I will defintely be returning! read more

I've been s stylist at Panache for about 30 yrs. I no longer work there i now work at Splash's 5511 South St. Lakewood .

CURLY HAIR SPECIALIST - Maria has been cutting my curly hair for years - She knows exactly how i like it - and will not leave it choppy - curly hair is special - she knows how to cut at angles to get the right layers - she is great!!! read more

Listen up, curly girls! I think I've finally found a hairdresser in this area that I love! I have naturally curly hair, and Maria cut it exactly how I wanted, even more than I could explain. She cut about 4-6 inches off my curly hair, and made it look fresh and playful, not weighed down and drab! She gets the curly hair, and knows how to cut it. Thank you, Maria! You rock! read more

I've been having Grace cut my hair since before she was at Panache. Loved her so much that when the other salon closed, I followed her to Panache, and if she ever leaves, I'll probably follow her again! She has been cutting my hair for more than 17 years. A couple times it has been a little shorter than I anticipated but it is ALWAYS a great cut so I don't worry. After all, it grows back! Even the couple short-short cuts I got received tons of compliments. She recently cut my daughters thick, wavy mane into a very short, sassy style, and I swear, my teenager became a young adult while sitting under Grace's scissors! Absolutely beautiful and my daughter was thrilled too! read more

Have been going to Maria for a few years and she always does an excellent job. Dudes, don't be afraid!

Finding a hair stylist is like finding a doctor or dentist....IT'S SO HARD! ! After years of stylist hopping, I finally found Lupe at Panache. She has now been cutting my hair for over 15 years. Over the years my style and color have changed, but what has not changed is the great quality of Lupe's work. read more

This is a great salon that I have been going to for years. Cindy Hinsberger is the best and only stylist I let touch my hair. Had so many compliments over the years on my haircut. Only one negative thing to say. And that is the owners are snobs. And make people feel uncomfortable. read more

What an Amazing salon. I had previously been going to my stylist since I was a kid. But due to scheduling, I needed to find someone closer and better hours. Bobby cuts my hair and does an amazing job. All of the staff are friendly and inviting, especially Annie. They will give you a reminder call for your appointment. I'm in and out in no time. This is wonderful since i have a very busy schedule. read more

If you want something trendy then this is not the place, but other than that they are great! They cut your hair to what would look good on you, not what you saw in a magazine.. and you probably don't even have the same hair as the girl in the magazine, but you still insist in getting it. They have been doing my hair for over 15 years and basically everyone in my family. They know their stuff! Give them a try! read more

Love Maria at Panache hair design, cannot count the years I have been going to her. She is friendly, funny, and knows what she does. She is always busy and has a large clientele. The salon is clean, in a great area, plenty of parking, and a restaurant one door down and a cleaners. Also Maria is in better shape then I am and works out regularly with a trainer. It's a nice motivation when your being a couch potato. But a cute couch potato. :) read more

Awesome salon! Love my hair every time! Cindy is the BEST!

Grace was referred to me by my mother. At first I was hesitant because Grace is a bit more mature than the stylists I have been to, but I am so glad that I did go to her. I LOVE my hair every time! She knows her stuff and every time I tell her how I want my hair she does just that. She is awesome and the only one that I would go to at Panache. read more

This review is about my beautiful sister in law, who had her hair colored by a "stylist" (Carmen). I arrived home from a long day at work to see my sister in law so visibly upset with the treatment and unprofessionalism Carmen had displayed while she was having her hair treated and colored. My sister in law had one objective and that was to get her hair a color that she wanted . The color was described and shown to Carmen, a picture that clearly shows what was to be achieved. Carmen took four hours to dye my sister's hair from 11am to 3pm. The roots were still visible, highlights not the color..."toner" applied to her hair but wasn't told that it would be an additional price. My sister in law inquired how much it would cost to trim her bangs. Carmen stated it will cost $45 dollars since it's the same amount of work but just a smaller amount of her hair. Huh? Based on what my sister in law was telling me. That right from the start of the visit Carmen seemed uninterested to hear what she wanted. I understand jumping in between clients but it seemed that she was neglected or ignored during the processing and had to be reminded by the client after an hour to check the foils. My sister was worried that her hair would fry. At the end of the visit, her hair wasn't styled, it was still wet and was basically the same color that I saw before I left for work. To sum it up: Please stay away from Carmen, She is unprofessional, doesn't listen to the client, rude and throws in addittional treatments without informing the client that it would add to the cost. incident : 4/13/13 It would be nice that the owner or the salon or manager read more
