We hired Alex and crew to assess roof damage and install gutters on our patio awning. From start to finish our experience was nothing but pleasant. They were able to assess the extent of damage, make repairs, recommend new roofing that was more applicable to how the framing was built, and install gutters the same style as existing to make the look seamless with the rest of the house. Work always started early and they always cleaned the job site before leaving everyday. We definitely recommend AV Roofing Pro if you are in need of residential roof work! A++++ read more

We requested a roof inspection since a leak had popped up in our living room. We were told what repairs needed to be made and Alex managed to move appointments around and got us help around the next day or two. He even showed us pictures of what needed repairing after the initial inspection. However, the men he sent to do the work rushed the job. They took probably a total of a two hours and 30 minutes to seal and paint several fixtures and replace a turbine. We went up to check the work and the quality was awful. We contacted Alex and he ended up checking the work for us. He found out a piece had started to burn because of some heating sealant issue and he wasn't happy with the paint job either. Quickly he fixed and repainted all of the work that needed repairing. We were very grateful for his service and the work completed looked amazing! The price was also lower than expected. read more

Do NOT hire Scotland Roofing to install your new gutters! Alejandro (Alex) V. from Scotland Roofing was quick to provide an estimate and have his workers install the gutters, but Scotland Roofing has not stood by the quality of their work. When I noticed holes in the corners of the gutters where you can see the light of day shining through, I immediately called Alejandro. He asked me to text him my contact information and told me he'd call me back right away. In short, over six months later and I'm still waiting to hear from him. He will not answer his phone, nor will he respond to my voicemail messages. I received an estimate from another roofing/gutter company to ascertain how much it would cost to repair Scotland Roofing's poorly installed gutters... $945! Do NOT hire Scotland Roofing- they have not stood by the quality of their work. The Better Business Bureau has been notified and is on the case. Next? Small claims court. read more

I reached out to Scotland Roofing because part of my roof had come loose and blown off after a heavy storm. They called me back right away to come out to take a look. They were flexible with my availability and were on time. I showed them the problem, and they said they could get to work right away, which I was very happy with because there was more rain forecasted for the entire following week. They made all of the necessary repairs and even gave me some tips on what to look out for and how to be prepared if this were to happen again. He sent me pictures of the work before and after completion. Very good work and reasonably priced. read more

Alex and his crew did a fantastic roof repair..i had a leak on the valley area of my roof...they came in identify the issue and work on it the following day ....they did not even gave me any further future date schedule! These guys were very professional, courteous and know their trade.... they worked efficiently and they cleared and cleaned everything as if nothing happened! But the most impressive thing of them all was they work with my needs and budget for the project in my favor! the entire crew were very respectful, soft spoken and always smiling...they seemed to like working with each other which is a plus to a good and efficient work ethics! I highly recommend this company......Thank You Very Much Alex and Crew!! Roberto!! read more

Response to service was very slow. Left a part of the gutter system damaged without repairing it or pointing it out to us. When I asked the project manager why they didn't fix it he said that was my responsibility to point it out. I trust my contractor," the experts", to do that. All he wanted was the money for work performed and didn't care one bit for our needs. I paid them but I won't be returning. I don't trust or appreciate how we were treated. read more

I contacted three businesses to fix two leaks on our roof. Roofmasters, whom I've hired before, sent me a generic reply asking for my phone number (which I provided in my initial message and I again provided). They never called me back. Govea Roofing quoted me $300 more than Scotland for less work included in the proposal. I contacted Scotland Roofing on a Tuesday. They inspected the roof that Thursday. Estimate received in writing Friday evening. Work completed on Monday. From start to finish, I found them informative, transparent, and earnest, hard workers. The repairs took the whole day, from 8 to almost 5 PM. I appreciated the pictures of the before and after. I even got a message a few days later to check up on the roof (so far, so good). We are so thankful we found someone we can trust to take care of our roof needs. Thank you so much, Edgar, Alex, and Jose! read more

We have used Scotland Roofing for years. Our house has clay tiles and whenever the solar company/ chimney cleaners service the units, they always manage to damage a tile or two. Ive always called Scotland roofing and they've always responded quickly and their repair fee was reasonable. This is IN ADDITION to an emergency we had last year, when we had a leak and Scotland roofing honored their 2 year inspection warranty we had when we moved in January 2020. The owner had employees respond and repaid a cracked roof tile at no charge. I feel like it's hard to find honest reliable companies these days, and Scotland Roofing is one of the few. Being a realtor / mortgage lender, I will always recommend Scotland Roofing for the roof inspections because Of the great service I've had with them! read more

I gotta say, Edgar and crew are amazing! They are efficient, nice, clean, fast and super friendly!... Spanish is my first language and when I found that Edgar spoke Spanish, I felt more comfortable to express myself with him. Made an appointment a week ago with this company. Today they were a no show, no call. If they didn't want the job why not just say so at the time so I could move on and to find someone else rather then wait a week for nothing. Very unreliable and very unprofessional!! read more

Alejandro and his team are amazing!! He was the only estimator that took the time to come out and actually get on the roof and take measurements... Very impressive! The crew is very polite, reliable, And clean. The job site was left impeccably clean at the end of every day. Great job guys! Alejandro do you have a well run business. We had a leak over our garage for a couple months. We had some guys come out and tell us sorry they couldn't help because it wasn't raining so they couldn't see where it was coming from. Seriously didn't know that's how it worked smh. We called Scotland Roofing and Alex came out right away. Went up top found the problem even took pictures for me to see. His prices were much better then other guys who could t even locate the problem. He did cash only, that was the only down side for us so we had to wait a couple weeks so I could Pay in full, even though he was willing to work with us. He came out and they had the roof repaired in no time. He was very friendly very polite and on time every time. We will be calling him back when we need the roof cleaned under the shingles. I would definitely recommend his work. It has been raining and not a drop of water in site where the leak was. Thank you Alex!! read more

This is one review that I really wanted to write! We so often want to only document reviews of poor performance, but there are times when you get such great service that you would be remiss if you didn't. This is one of those instances! In the past I've had to call Petersendean Roofing out, year after year, for 4-years. Petersendean Roofing performed so poorly, and after the seasonal rains, I would soon find out just how poorly their work was. On the other hand, Alex from Scotland Roofing answered my call through the Yelp app straight away. He made an appointment with me that coincided with my work schedule. During our appointment, Alex was very keen to identify the source of our roof leak. I immediately knew that I was speaking with a seasoned veteran who knew his craft in carpentry. Alex has extremely fair and honest prices for his services (I Promise!). Alex and his team went to work on the day of the repair, quickly opening up the roofing tile. They were like surgeons, only peeling back the roofing far enough to properly administer a professional repair (one that will last). I was very IMPRESSED with the outcome, and Scotland Roofing more than delivered what he promised. He left me with nothing but superb things to say about him and his team. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Scotland Roofing to anyone needing roofing services - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! read more

I called based on positive reviews. An appointment was made and Scotland Roofing did a complete no show, wasting my time. When I reached out he said he completely forgot and his tire had a flat also. Granted, but there was no attempt by Scotland Roofing to re-schedule nor reach out again. I do not recommend using them for any roof repairs and am glad I did not use them due to them being unprofessional. read more

I am so appreciative of Scotland Roofing!! They are fantastic!! Alex responded my Yelp message in less than 1 hour when I requested someone to come out to look at my roof which was leaking. He came out the same day to look at the roof. I was stressed to have the repairs done before the next storm would be coming in a few days. He moved things around to help me out. He was on time both for the initial roof check and again on the day he was scheduled to come out and repair the roof. He explained everything very clearly and provided great pictures to show me what was going on with the roof and what needed to be done. I would recommend Alex and Scotland Roofing to anyone and everyone!! Great customer service and reasonable prices!! read more

I called about 7 different roofing companies to get an estimate on a new roof , 3 out of 7 companies come by and gave me the estimate ! Scotland Roofing come the very same day I called their estimate was the best in price, materials and time line. We signed a contract and with in a few days , Our new roof was installed . Workers were super professional and they really care they were always looking after my dog making sure he didnt run out and went he did they went after him. The city inspector is very well known for been harsh here in the city I live in , He told me that He was impressed with this company work and finishes. I over heard the inspector asking the Edgar the owner of Scotland Roofing to stop by the City hall to drop of some of this business cards because they want good companies like this one to promote in our City. I cant thank you enough for your service, for caring and doing it right! Thanks read more

Called Scotland Roofing for a quote to redo the fascia and gutters on our house and they came out the next day. Came back with a great price and they were ready to go in two days. Alex and crew fixed my roof out here in Vallejo. It seemed well done with clean. Alll in one day. I saw photos of the progress and he communicated any neccessary work and suggestions. Alex and Jose were awesome. During the recent rains I noticed a paint bubble on my wall and my heart sunk. After calling a few places and realizing no one would come do service in the rain, I jumped on the roof and threw on a tarp. Afterwards I continued to call around and that's when I reached Alex. Alex let me know he'd come the next day. He then texted to keep me updated on when he'd be there and if he was running late. Alex showed up around 40 minutes after the originally agreed upon ton, but it wasn't until after he left would I realize why. Alex and Jose showed up and they both quickly jumped on the roof and diagnosed the problem. He allowed me to jump up the roof and showed me the problem, areas to watch, and what to get checked after the rainy season is over. He remedied the issue (backed up flashing causing a breach onto the roof). I originally expected him to come and quote. But he came, quoted, resolved and was on his way. His willingness to ease my stress and resolve the problem was when I realized that he probably did the same thing to the person before me which made him run a little late. I couldn't have been happier and hope to have him come back in the spring to confirm I have no long term problems. read more

No idea how good their work is as they dropped the ball communicating with me. I originally contacted them via the Yelp website. They responded quickly asking for contact info. I responded via Yelp, but since the Yelp conversation deletes all numbers I couldn't give them my phone number or address, so I told them to email me. They said they would but I never heard back. And a subsequent follow up through Yelp didn't get a response either. I contacted five other contractors directly without using the Yelp website and received prompt replies so that may be a lesson. read more

Like one of the other reviewers I had called 7 roofing companies about a leak repair. Scotland was the first I called and they scheduled an estimate immediately with an estimate the same day. I got call backs from 2 other companies with 6-8 week waiting times and no call back from 4 of them. They are very professional and do exceptional work my wife and I couldn't be happier. We had him also do the roof maintenance which he found and replaced multiple broken tiles and resealed and caulked all penetrations plus cleaned all the gutters. I would highly recommend using Scotland for new roofs and repairs. read more

I can't say enough good things about Alex and his crew from Scotland Roofing. From the time I contacted them for a quote to completing my repair work, he has been prompt, courteous and professional and highly responsive too! I couldn't even get a response to my calls from other roofers and Alex was able to come and give me a very reasonable estimate the very next day after contacting him. And, he was able to get the work done before the rainy season started; which was a real concern for our family. Thanks for everything, Alex! These guys just left. And they were great! Well, I was impressed that they got here fifteen minutes early, which was super. After they got started, they only interrupted me once to get access to another part of the house, which was fenced off, and after they took care of the rest and then some [found, on the roof, under the solar panels a nest, which they proceeded to take care of] WOW! .... gutter cleaning was never this easy.
